And if you do believe we are the only ones in the universe, then we should just get rid of science and base everything on falsehood and not even search for truth. |

All Religions Promote Lies
About God
Hoteph Beloved Sisters And
Brothers:
I am just going to react
briefly to the Lies now
being spread about the now
find of Jesus remains and
his Family, in my book Lies
about God, I clearly states
the Jesus story is a Lie and
Jesus never did live as
portrayed in the the Holy
book of the religious
believers and I remain firm
in that I know to be
Divinely True.
The claim now being aired
over the devil media about
the developing
story concerning the find
of Jesus remains, which now
have been discovered as they
so claim and such a claim
only verify my claim that
the character Jesus is no
more than a figment of the
Human Being Lying Mind.
The entire DNA claim is a
lie, concerning the Bible
Jesus and I stress the Bible
Jesus because it is that
Jesus the world has been
duped about and maneuvered
to Love with a passion not
shown toward each other.
It is a saying that if you
start out lying then that
lie, in order to give it
creditability, has to keep
on lying, but before long
the Lie will be pushed by
its own action into a
corner, whereby the Lie fall
defeated before the Divine
Truth and that is what this
new claim about Jesus
remains and his family has
done, it verify my claim
about Jesus never have been
to this planet as so stated
in your Holy book.
The Claim today is that, now
Jesus has been founded, yet
in your Holy book it clearly
states that Jesus was the
act of God planting the seed
of God into a woman call
Mary and she did give birth
to a Man Child they named
Jesus, he came to this Earth
and was Murdered on Logs
nailed and tied across each
other, he was Buried in an
apartment like Tomb and
stayed there for two days
and on the third day he
emerged from the Tomb where
Thomas and the rest of
Jesus disciples saw and
talked to him and as they
were walking up the path
together, Jesus suddenly
became no more, in other
words, he just disappeared
up into the Heavenly sky.
Now, if the Book you call
the Bible of Truth state
such about Jesus and it
does, then how in the Hell
can what this devilish Human
Being is making claim to
today, be True, their claim
to have found Jesus, attack
every word in your Holy Book
and does verify such words
to be A lie, in reference
to Jesus, and since they
lied to you about Jesus,
then one can logically
assume that there be many
more lies contained in that
Book call the Word of God,
which such a claim is a lie
in and of itself.
Beloved, if it be the will
of our Ancient First way
Ancestors, I will cover more
in detail about this virus
call religion in my class on
Saturday Night, on

"PRACTICING LAW WITHOUT A LICENSE?"
You only hold a piece of
paper that warrants the original deed exists.
The same applies to motor vehicles. You are given a Certificate of Title when you buy a car, but the actual title itself is being held as collateral by the government. You are holding a piece of paper that certifies the title exisits. In other words, even if you have no house mortgage or car loan, you still don't own them... the United States holds title to your private property. The previously mentioned Council of State Governments is now the National Conference Of Commissioners On Uniform State Laws. This organization membership consists of only Bar(fly) licensed lawyers, the illegal and immoral monopoly that controls our nation. These licensed socialists (communists seize private land without compensation, don't they?) parade around with the royal Nobility Title of Esquire (Esq.), but according to the Constitution And By-Laws of their organization, they lobby for, pass, order, and execute statutory provisions to "help implement international treaties of the United States or where world uniformity would be desirable" Source-1990/91 Reference Book, National Council of Commissioners On Uniform State Laws, page 2. The ABA LIE: Unauthorized Practice of Law. Just how does a Good and Lawful Christian defend Himself when forced, against His Will, to stand and speak before the purported 'courts' now operating in the United States? Is He to be mute and say nothing, citing the Laws of God? Although every Christian has the Right to choose His own court, this is not so practical when he is forced by duress and coercion to 'appear' in a court He has not chosen nor recognizes as being subject to God's Laws. How can he 'appear' in an un-Godly court? Our answer to this is to do as Christ Jesus did when He was forced to stand before the judgment of the un-Godly. There is no set of Rules other than the example His Word has already laid out for Us. However, every Christian should have knowledge of how this world operates, and that includes the purported 'laws' and 'courts' being forced upon us over and above God's Sovereign Laws. To defend oneself is nearly impossible in their 'courts', and to seek the assistance of Godly counsel is not allowed by what they dare to call, but refuse to define, as the "unauthorized practice of law". There may be much truth to the claim that the Fourteenth Amendment to the federal constitution was instigated by the legal professionals' trade union, now known as The American Bar Association. Many facts support the claim that this "Bar" monopoly was established in Christian America, immediately after Lincoln's (un)Civil War, to create and substitute a 'colorless' system of uniformed general slavery to replace the previous system of black slavery. This was to have been implemented by guaranteeing a monopoly of the courts for their own member attorneys, judges, and Municipal Corporations (City, County, and State). This monopolizing and unlawful labor union, The Bar Association, has forbidden anyone but their own exclusive member attorneys to give legal advice or representation, which has prevented any Good and Lawful Christian from being assisted in these purported 'Courts of Law' by a non-union lawyer or by a "non-lawyer", as used in their own terminology. Lawyers (Attorn-ers) -- Just a Poem ... Law... could still be as simple as the Ten, set down in stone away back when. Trial... could still be a simple chain of events, of un-embellished testimony and evidence. Alas... simple Laws didn't provide enough bread, to keep the old time Barrister's fed. So... somewhere back in the mists of olden times, proto lawyers (Attorn-ers) decided, "We can rake in more dimes!" "If we write the Laws in such a way, "The fools will have to pay our exorbitant fee, if they want any chance of staying... Free!" Thus began our contorted Legal System, ending any semblence of common sence or reason. 'Lawyers' (attorn-ers) ... had come upon the Earhtly scene, and from that day on... 'LAW'has become obscene Lawyers (attorn-ers) ... are really a totally useless group. Their only function... to invent and dispense Bull poop. Spewing out reams of blarney and hocus pocus, to ensure 'Truth and Justice'stay just out of focus. When Lawyers (attorn-ers) can't make enough in the Court, they seek out the 'Employer of Last Resort'. They'll troll about for ANY political offers, too more lavishly swill from the Public coffers! Then... to repay those who have financed their foray, they enact whatever Laws... their benefactors say. And to ensure employment for the next Lawyer (attorn-er) crop, they enact... yet another pile of Legislative Bull plop. Our whole Legal/Political system has gone out of control. It has become overpaid people... on Government dole. "They" are given the rare opportunity to do some good, and make the World better... if only they would! SUMMARY: Attorn-eys are B.A.R. Flys, Bloodsuckers, Cockroaches, Leeches, Maggots, Rob Peter (you) to pay Paul (their masters), Parasites, Vampires, and their 'spirit' was already at the Garden of Eden as re-presented by the serpent: " ... Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord had made. And he said to the woman (Eve) "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" ... "And the serpent said to the woman, 'You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil"... Genesis 3: 1 - 5. Accusatory, Arguendo, Controversy, Dispute, Divide and Conquer, Doubt, Interrogation, Questioning, Twister of WORDS, etc. The Fall of Man came when they listened to the serpent with the spirit of an attorn-ey instead of their Creator, and they became 'Fallen Angels' = 'Felon Agents'.

Part 1 Ask a Black person in the Congressional Black Caucus, why is there only a few of them speaking truth to power and why are those few women.
Ask
a Black person, ages 13 – 19 years old, to name a conscious
rapper their age. Ask them to name a poet that spits
positive rhymes to inform them about the politics and social
issues of today -- something to inspire them to take action.
Ask
a Black person who calls himself an intellectual (from ages
30 – 50) to name the last time he came up with a thought
that was carried into action -- that actually changed the
reality of Blacks for the better. Maybe if they stopped
trying to 1. Sell white ideologies, 2. Sell books 3. Sell
themselves or 4. Attack other Blacks, we would have a
positive answer.
Ask
a Black person, why Blacks vote for the Democratic Party in
such high numbers when it mirrors the Republican Party on
important issues such as: the death penalty, the drug war,
the prison industrial complex, the war in
Ask
a Black person how prosperous were Blacks in the job market
before the immigration debate started. Also, ask them why
they can’t see that building a wall on the southern border,
while not erecting one on the northern border, is racist.
Also ask them why they are so willing to fight for white
supremacy - the fight against whites one day being the
minority in this country. Ask them, do they know that the
same type of Negro found it their duties to make sure that
evil white slave owners were more comfortable than
themselves. Ask them if they are from that long bloodline of
Negros who snitched out slave revolts, condemned
reconstruction, did not mind lynching as long as it was not
them, hated the civil rights trouble-makers and worked for
the government as a COINTELPRO agent to destroy Black
leaders and activists.
Ask
a Black person in the Nation of Islam, why haven’t it
created a distribution system for Black music the way they
have for the Final Call newspaper.
Ask
a Black person who knows any of the clergy supporting Bush,
why are their pastors cozying up to a person that is lying
and having men, women and children killed around the world.
Also, ask them, why these preachers are embracing a person
that supports spying on innocent people in this country. Ask
them how many times they have told their children, “You are
the company you keep,” and “If you lie, you will steal.”
Ask
a Black person in a Greek letter organization, why they
behave like street gangs in college. They have their colors,
hand signs, mouth calls, initiation and they fight against
similar groups. Also ask them why they name their
organizations after the people who learned from, and stole
from Blacks thousands of years ago.
Ask
a Black person that knows Oprah, why when asked about Hip
Hop she sounded like the white person who says, “Some of my
best friends are Black.” Ask her why when asked, she said
she listens to 50 Cent while working out. Why doesn’t she
listen to Public Enemy, Afrika Bambaataa, KRS One, Ice Cube,
Dead Prez or Common? Ask if she knows that 50 Cent says the
words “nigga” “hoe” “pimp” and “bitch” more than either of
the above named artists combined. Ask her if she knows that
Ludacris is a more positive artist with, arguably, better
lyrics and music – the person she dissed on her show. And,
ask her, even if she does not listen to above named positive
artist all of the time, would it not have been better to
promote their music instead of 50’s. Maybe 50 Cent is on to
something – if you diss someone, they will promote you.
Ask
a Black person, why are they so beautiful and powerful in
spite of all of these questions. Ask them do they know that
the entire world is waiting for their leadership – not the
kind that is sent out to do the dirty work of whites who
rule this country.

Greetings Brothers and Sisters, I just had to take some time out to make a little comment about the Terrible Tragedy of the Asian Tsunami and put it in perspective with our Global African situation. Your comments will be greatly appreciated. May the Ancestors guide and protect you on our way. Love and life Spartacus R. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to
Tsunami in Perspective (1) What is the Significance of the Asian Tsunami to Global Africa? On the 26th December 2004, a massive earthquake measuring 9 on the Richter scale exploded on the seabed of the Indian ocean near the western edge of Indonesia. Within hours this earthquake had wreaked havoc in at least eleven countries in the immediate vicinity with a series of giant Tsunamis whose tentacles reached over a broad area as far away as Kenya, Seychelles, Somalia, Madagascar and Mauritius, some 3000 miles away on the Eastern shores of Africa. Many commentators are calling this Earthquake Tsunami the worst "natural" disaster ever experienced in world history - at least in modern times. It is estimated that around 160,000 people have died, millions have been made homeless and destitute and hundreds of billions of dollars worth of businesses have been destroyed. Some observers predict that the final figure will be closer to 200,000 dead, providing opportunistic mass diseases such as cholera do not get a chance to take advantage of the resultant sanitation problems. Admirably, people all over the world have risen to the challenges presented by this enormous human disaster and are pouring in materials, foodstuffs, cash and even volunteering their services to try and alleviate some of the hardships of the survivors of this huge tragedy. Over $2 billion has been pledged for the rescue and rebuilding effort so far, including $500,000,000 from Japan alone, which is almost twice the next largest contribution from the US of $350,000,000. As the sheer scale of the disaster emerges, more and more countries are pledging aid to Tsunami ravaged Asian countries including Kenya whose own coastline was also hit by the raging waves which displaced over 50,000 and killed over 200 in neighbouring Somalia. Commentators estimate that it will take years, if not decades, for countries like Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka to recover from this disaster both economically and demographically. No doubt this Earthquake Tsunami is indeed a horrendous disaster. By far the greatest loss to all concerned are the human casualties, the 160,000 to 200,000 who died and their grieving families. My deepest sympathy and condolence goes out to the survivors and all those who have lost relatives, friends and colleagues as a result. That said, I would like you to come with me and take a closer look at the disaster in its global context from a Global African perspective: It has been common knowledge for over ten years now (and the situation has grown much, much worse in the past five years), that an African child below the age of five dies every 3 (three) seconds on the continent. That means every week 201,600 African children don’t get to celebrate their 5th birthday. Every year ten and a half million (10,483,200) African children perish, some through curable and preventable diseases such as malaria, small pox, chicken pox, measles, whooping cough, dysentery, some through malnutrition, and others through combinations of neglect, starvation, poisoning, political mismanagement, local wars and deliberate genocidal policies of criminal, puppet governments and enemy sponsored NGOs. Of course, we are not taking into consideration another twenty million or so annual deaths including: the millions of older children between the ages of five and fifteen; greater numbers of young adults of prime procreative age who are being sacrificed on the killing fields of Kongo, Sudan, Somalia, Liberia, etc.; the growing millions each year, falsely accused of carrying the AIDS/HIV virus, the majority of whom are suffering from curable and preventable diseases but who are being dumped on the medical scrapheap to die as bad, terminal and therefore untreatable. This means, in human terms, Africa is haemorrhaging from a disaster much greater in scale than two Asian Earthquake Tsunamis each and every week, year in and year out - and Global Africa, the people whose future is being destroyed on a daily basis say nothing and do nothing. ................ End ................ Your comments, criticisms,
observations, reactions, etc. are welcome and will be greatly
appreciated. All contributions, positive or negative, may be
published, unless you request otherwise. Please feel free to publish

Washington
tunes in Critics accuse Clear Channel of shady radio deals and nasty concert business. Now the government is starting to pay attention. By Eric Boehlert March 27, 2002 |
Clear Channel
Communications, the country's largest radio broadcaster and the dominant
player in the live entertainment concert business, is drawing fire from some
Washington regulators. Critics insist Clear Channel's size and hardball business policies have effectively shut down competition. Yet company officials deny any wrongdoing and suggest that the charges are being made by competitors hoping to distract the multi-billion dollar media giant. Still, the allegation of unfair practices seems to be gaining some currency inside the Beltway. Last week, Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., became the second congressman this year to write to the Department of Justice and ask for an investigation of Clear Channel's practices. Also last week, the Federal Communications Commission took the rare step of denying a Clear Channel station purchase. Citing concerns about media concentration, the FCC designated one of its administrative law judges to hear the issue -- the first time that's been done in more than 30 years. At the same time, the FCC is weighing evidence submitted last year that Clear Channel illegally "parks" or "warehouses" radio stations it's not allowed to own, by selling them to front, or shell, companies. Clear Channel executives adamantly deny the charge, but a former Clear Channel employee now tells Salon the practice goes on in the open. The accusations indicate a new wave of scrutiny for the billion-dollar media giant. "The question is, when does being an aggressive company trying to do a good job controlling market share for stockholders, when does that become anti-competitive?" asks Weiner, a member of the Judiciary Committee. In writing to the Department of Justice, Weiner suggested Clear Channel's dominance of the concert business is "harmful to consumers, venue owners and artists." In January, Rep. Howard Berman, D-Calif., wrote to both the Justice Department and the FCC, urging them to examine several of Clear Channel's business practices. Both agencies responded, telling Berman they were willing to move forward with investigations if they receive evidence of wrongdoing, and would be willing to review any evidence his office receives. As for Weiner, he says if the Justice Department tells him it has examined the company and is satisfied there is no wrongdoing, he and Berman will likely push for a congressional hearing. Although the House of Representatives and its committees are controlled by Republicans -- who traditionally see no problem with media consolidation -- Weiner says it's "not beyond reason" to suggest a Clear Channel hearing could be scheduled this year. Weiner's letter centered around a specific allegation involving Clear Channel and how it was able to take a venue contract away from a competitor. The specifics are somewhat complicated, but the allegation is straightforward: When a rival beat out Clear Channel in its attempt to buy a New York-based concert promoter, Clear Channel tried to thwart the deal by turning around and poaching one of the promoter's most important assets, a county-run outdoor amphitheater, with an overly generous contract bid that will cost Clear Channel money in the end. "We all understand we're competitors and competition is rough, but to us this was completely unparalleled," says Tom Etter, senior vice president of Covanta Energy, which at the time was the majority owner of the Metropolitan Entertainment Group, the New York concert promoter Clear Channel bid on. Clear Channel lost out to Mitch Slater, a well-known New York promoter, who bought Metropolitan. Then, within weeks of losing out to Slater in February, Clear Channel signed a contract with Lackawanna County in Pennsylvania to operate and book its Montage Mountain Performing Arts Center near Scranton, Pa. The 18,000-seat amphitheater, which Metropolitan helped build and operated exclusively for the last two years, was one of Metropolitan's biggest moneymakers and a key component in Slater's offer to buy the company. "When we called to tell Clear Channel we had decided to go with Mitch Slater they were pretty upset. I heard from many people inside Clear Channel that Mitch would be a formidable competitor and would cost them money. Because if Clear Channel's got to bid for concerts against somebody with a good reputation, like Mitch, it's going to cost them money," says Etter. Etter accuses Clear Channel, which had just reviewed Metropolitan's financial records for its unsuccessful bid on the company, of taking a loss at Montage Mountain in order to sabotage the Slater/Metropolitan deal and to lock out a competitor. "That was their motivation," says Etter. "Clear Channel hoped the Metropolitan deal would fall apart and it could pick up the pieces. They can't make money off the Montage contract, which will probably lose money every year. So why would they do that? There has to be another motive other than profits." That allegation is what caught Weiner's attention: "When you start to make deals not in your self-interest and take losses in order to box out the competition, that starts to rise to the level of anti-trust behavior," he says. A Clear Channel spokesman points out it was the county, unhappy with its Metropolitan relationship, that contacted Clear Channel about taking over Montage Mountain. He calls the allegation that Clear Channel is willing to lose money on the deal "unfounded," adding, "We're a public company, we're not going to lose money on a facility for the sake of a small competitor. To suggest we've done something wrong here is absurd." Metropolitan has sued Clear Channel, as well as the county, and is trying to retain exclusive rights to promote Montage Mountain through a court injunction. Meanwhile, the allegation that Clear Channel "parks" or "warehouses" stations won't go away. Competitors insist the company, as a way to get around ownership limits, has sold off stations to front companies that allow Clear Channel to continue operating the properties. And more important, the shell companies would allow Clear Channel an easy way to buy back the stations if the FCC were to further reduce ownership limits. "You can only own so many stations in a market. That's the spirit of the rule. Everybody else is playing by the spirit and Clear Channel is allowed to circumvent it," complains one manager who oversees a handful of stations in a top 25-size market. "Everybody's scratching their heads asking, 'How can they do this?' and, 'What is it going to take to get the appropriate government agency to pay attention?'" As Salon first reported last November, an advertiser in the small Ohio market of Chillicothe filed a petition with the FCC, urging that it deny Clear Channel's proposed purchase of a local country music station, WKKJ. The advertiser, David Ringer, argued the acquisition would give Clear Channel control of all four of Chillicothe's commercially licensed radio stations and would be able to drive up advertising rates. Perhaps more important, Ringer also alleged that Clear Channel has been illegally operating the station for years through a shell company. Clear Channel answered with its own FCC filing, dismissing Ringer's "scattershot" and "inconsequential" charges. Company executives insist every station transaction they've made has been proper and legal, and that Clear Channel does not try to hides its properties. Still, in an interview with Salon, a former Clear Channel employee from the Chillicothe area says it was common knowledge among staffers that Clear Channel operated WKKJ. "It was like a running joke," says Nick Ramsey, who worked for Clear Channel station WSRW and left voluntarily last June. He currently works at WVNU, an independently owned station in nearby Greenfield, Ohio. Although technically WKKJ had different owners, the feeling among staffers at Clear Channel's nearby stations was that WKKJ was part of the family, says Ramsey. "It never took on the appearance of that was the enemy or a competitor. It was just the other station in town. There was a consensus that something was going on [at WKKJ] but nobody wanted to ask what." Ramsey says Dan Latham, Clear Channel's general manager who oversaw seven stations in the Ohio region, was on the phone "daily" with WKKJ's G.M. offering advice, and that in 1999 when Concorde Media, the alleged shell company, took control of WKKJ, a Clear Channel engineer was at the station to help solve some technical difficulties. Ramsey became concerned about the casual overlap with WKKJ because, like all Clear Channel employees, he had signed a noncompete agreement, forbidding him from working for any competing radio stations. Ramsey says he asked his Clear Channel boss if employees weren't violating company policy by doing work for WKKJ, but he did not get an answer. "It just seems like Clear Channel is overstepping the bounds in Chillicothe," says Ramsey. "They look at what the FCC rules are and bend and shape them as they see fit to get the greatest gain." Latham could not be reached for comment. A spokesperson for Clear Channel's radio division also could not be reached. The specifics of Chillicothe may seem minor, considering that Clear Channel operates 1,225 stations in nearly 300 different markets. And in its response to the FCC, the company argues that whatever mix-up may have occurred at WKKJ was due to a "clerical error" committed by a company with such vast holdings. What could prove more damaging to Clear Channel is the allegation made by Ringer and his attorney that the radio giant, in its filings with the commission, has deceived the FCC in order to cover up the fact that it skirted ownership rules. "The worst thing to do in a deregulated environment is to get caught lying," says Andy Schwartzman, president of the Media Access Project, a public interest group that has been critical of the FCC for not closely scrutinizing further media consolidation. "When there's less regulation, the onus is on companies to be self-regulating. The FCC relies on people being truthful," says Schwartzman. "The one thing companies can really get in trouble for at the FCC, still, is lying." In one example cited to the FCC, Ringer notes that Clear Channel filed an application for a license on behalf of what he calls a shell company. The application is signed by Clear Channel's vice president of engineering, as well as by Troy Langham, who lists his e-mail address as "Troylangham@clearchannel.com." Ringer argues that just days later, "realizing that it had made an error," another copy of the same document was filed with the FCC, but gone are signatures from Clear Channel's vice president, and Langham's e-mail address has been changed to "Troylangham@engineer.com." Wrote Ringer: "Clear Channel's conduct demonstrated a clear intent to conceal material information from the FCC. In this case, and probably others, Clear Channel provided engineering services for front companies and then attempted to conceal its involvement." The FCC did recently put Clear Channel on notice in a small way, even though it was unrelated to allegation of warehousing stations. Unable to find a public-interest reason to allow the company's proposed purchase of WUMX in Charlottesville, Va., to go forward, the commission announced the request would be decided during an administrative hearing in front of an FCC judge. It's the first time the commission has ordered a hearing to deal with market-concentration issues in a radio station sale since 1969. The move "was probably a shot across the bow by the commission, an attempt to reassert their relevancy," says one longtime industry veteran who does business with Clear Channel. "The FCC's tired of being told they're toothless and want to show they're not." (In his New York Times column, conservative William Safire, criticizing the pace of media consolidation, recently mocked chairman Powell as a "roundheeled" pushover who's "steering the [FCC] toward terminal fecklessness.") Others see the move as too little, too late. "It's so incredibly lame," says Schwartzman at the Media Access Project. "It's easy to pick single worst [application] and say we're going to make an example out of you and get a lot of press saying the FCC is cracking down. But how many hundreds of other transactions [like this] has the FCC approved?" Last year, for instance, former FCC commissioner Gloria Tristani complained when her fellow commissioners, including chairman Michael Powell, OK'ed a station sale in Binghamton, N.Y. It gave just two radio broadcasters control of 91.2 percent of the market's advertising revenue. "Businesses and listeners will face the increasing likelihood that the two dominant owners will engage in advertising price discrimination and other collusive behavior that contravenes the public interest," wrote Tristani, who labeled the FCC's sale approval "regulatory malfeasance." Yet suddenly the pending sale in Charlottesville, Va., which would have given two companies 94.2 percent market share, has been flagged for the first FCC hearing of its kind in 33 years. Clear Channel, it seems, has landed on the Beltway. |

THE NEW NEGROES The real point of the article is that there are two very distinct cultures of American blacks. The first and most dominant culture consists of what the author refers to as the "new Negroes." Actually, there is nothing new about this culture. They are the descendants of the house nigger. They are the Bible-beating Baptist patrons of BET, JET, collard greens and Kentucky Fried Chicken for whom the word "class" is worthless, because they have neither have any class, nor see any reason to have class. To them, class is a Euocentric invention that refutes their so-called blackness. And it is. Because they are simply a color. They do not identify as Africans; therefore, they have no mother country, no history other slavery, and no standard other than that of their great philosophers -- the pimps and whores whose culture can be heard in the hip-hop music, Barbershop movies, 'Lil Kim fashions, and ghetto-based literature. And whether they attend Howard or Harvard, they carry their Negro mindset with them. It is, after all, the essence of the Negro mind. Praise Jesus! Can I get an amen? The second much smaller culture consists of African Americans who understand that Africans and people of African descent must have their own standards and that whatever standard is established must at least equal the standards established by the other peoples of the world. Obviously, when a culture that has no class confronts a culture with class, there is going to be controversy. The standard of the house nigger is rooted in the culture of the pimp, the whore, and the bushel of collards. It is a mindset that cannot be changed with a BS, a MS or even a Ph.D. It is quite nearly genetic. This is why I repeatedly argue that intelligent people of African descent must remove themselves from the American Negro. These people cannot be redeemed. They cannot be saved. They cannot be rehabilitated. They are lost; and, they would rather kill anyone who attempts to change them, than elevate their standards. They are dead. Bury them and leave them alone. Let them Rest In Peace. Sincerely, |

SUFFERING FROM WHITE SUPREMACY Afrocentric study provides the African Americans the self-discipline, the intellectual ideals, love of learning and other motivational attributes necessary for their acquisition of success, and protection from the mental, and physical suffering caused by WHITE SUPREMACY which takes hold of some Third World people due to the C.A.I.D.S. virus. The antidote to this virus is found on Ta_Seti. The letters C.A.I.D.S. mean Culturally Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. C.A.I.D.S. has caused much destruction in the African-American community, it is the psychological equivalent to the A.I.D.S. virus. On the other hand, Eurocentricism because of its roots in white supremacy and Negro inferiority cause these salient African attributes to be lacking in most African-Americans. Jewish scholars long ago recognized the need for self-segregation i.e., Jewish institutions to support Jewish traditions. Afrocentric studies should be compared to Jewish studies. Jewish studies aim to teach Judaism to Jews and promote Jewish learning and scholarship. No serious commentators attack the self-segregation institution of the Jews that promote Jewish learning and Jewish self-esteem. Given this reality, Afrocentricism's major objective is to foster Afrocentric learning and scholarship and teach the lessons of African civilization to African-Americans so they can see the learning, science and institutions this civilization called into being in the East and the West. This body of knowledge should promote confidence in African-American youth so they can compete with their fellow Americans.Given the increasing popularity of Afrocentricism and multiculturalism among teachers around the United States, many white "resisters" have began a campaign to discredit Afrocentricism which is really an educational idea aimed to establish racial self-esteem. Racial self-esteem is pride in one's own race/ethnic group. Racial self-esteem, which is the goal of Afrocentricism, cannot be equated with racism because racism is the notion that one's own ethnic group is superior to other races or ethnic groups. Afrocentricism just explains the historical role of the African in history. It is based upon the reality--truth-- of the sources of history. It aims to combat C.A.I.D.S. Primarily placing the pursuit of European culture and values over the traditional culture and values of Afro-American and African people causes the C.A.I.D.S. virus. This lack of race pride, knowledge of one's past leads to feelings of racial inferiority. Due to C.A.I.D.S. many African-Americans are ignorant of their past, and thusly lack the human values necessary to protect African-American culture from self -destruction. =20 Today there is an all out attack against Afrocentricism by the Media establishment. No Eurocentric scholars will openly support their attack against Afrocentric scholars by presenting opposing evidence from history, art and archaeology to dispute the Afrocentric claims they just attack Afrocentric scholars and misrepresent what they have said or written. A major component of Eurocentricism is the notion of African-American intellectual inferiority. As a result, European scholars can write and research the history of any people on earth. African-Americans on the other hand, are believed to lack the intellectual capacity to research, let alone write history. Due to the Eurocentrist belief in the intellectual inferiority of Africans they believe that African Americans are unsuited to write ancient history, international affairs, or archaeology. In the 1980's I was main authority on Muslims minorities in China. Few scholars knew me personally then-they only knew me by the numerous articles I had published on this theme. As a result, when I attended International Conferences, this scholars would question me about my=20 origins, some would declare that I must be Caribbean, others would maintain I was African, when I told them I was an African American that grew up on 47th Street in Chicago, they were surprised because to say the least. It seemed to me that just could not imagine an African American being an expert on Chinese Muslim minorities. This attitude of many Eurocentrist and Closet Eurocentrist ,may result from several factors especially white supremacy, racial bias and social position. These factors are important ,because of the fact that formerly persons writing on these topics usually came from well-to-do families that could provide them with the capital to undertake research activities abroad. This belief has ghettoized African -American scholars in the academe, and authors generally , to writing only about slavery, the slave trade and/or the cycle of poverty typified by life in the urban centers of the United States. Due to C.A.I.D.S. the vast majority of African-Americans feel inferior to Europeans. Because of these feelings of inferiority many middle class African-Americans and the Black Church have perpetuated Eurocentricism instead of fighting to encourage race pride among African-Americans. This failure to assert manliness has allowed C.A.I.D.S. to run=20 rampant in Afro-America . This malady has caused the rise of many social problems among African-Americans who have adopted a negative lifestyle: gangs, bastardy and etc., first imposed on the African slave, but today identical negative behaviors are being perpetuated by African-Americans who believe that Black Culture is having children out of wedlock, and any other negative visions of America such as gangbanging popularized by the media. All of these negative cultural elements have no basis in Africa, and are the result of C.A.I.D.S. The African-American middle class after the 1920's has avoided identification with Afrocentricism, cultural nationalism or race consciousness. Harold Cruse has pointed out that "The [Southern] black middle class as it was constituted (even in the north) was not committed to any serious sponsorship of promising artists or any involvement in the 'politics of culture'". The Church , long an expression of African -American independence has also failed to combat the destructive effects of C.A.I.D.S., because its middle-class materialist orientation. The capitulation of the Black Church and the African-American middle-class to Eurocentric values has not brought them assimilation or integration into the American mainstream , but no true African-Americancultural identity , based on African history and African traditions. This is especially true of many African-American academics. As a result, we have African American professors like W.J. Moses, in Afrotopia, is happy to brag about the absence of any Afrocentric history courses at any of the major Universities. And makes it clear he wants to maintain the status quo. Consequently, he believes that cultural relativism should control the interpretation of history, not sources and narratives of history( see p.233). Granted, today we have more African-American professors then ever before. Yet, these academics produce few if any research articles, or even serve as editors of mainstream intellectual journals. In fact, many African American academic historians ( if they are not writing about slavery) would not be published at all if they were not writing books attacking Afrocentrism The most glaring evidence of the devastating effects of C.A.I.D.S., is that except for the Afrocentric scholars who self-publish their own work, since the demise of the journal Black World, in the 1970's African-Americans do not have a journal, which expresses the intellectual ideas, and culture of the African in America. The failure of the African-American academics /intellectuals to publish their own journal suggest that either they have nothing to say, are afraid to express their own opinions without the approval of the department heads at the Universities where they teach, or they simply feel inferior to whites because of their contraction of the C.A.I.D.S. virus. The failure of African-American intellectuals to publish their work in mainstream publications also highlight the inability of African-Americans to be fully integrated into American academia. Due to Eurocentricism , even those African-American "scholars " recognized as competent researchers can only hope to associate with the American Academic Establishment, not assimilate into it. Afrocentricism is the ultimate remedy for the diseases associated with C.A.I.D.S. , such as alleged racial inferiority and racism that destroy the spirit of African-Americans, and especially the self-confidence one needs to compete in the United States--face the challenge of LIFE and WIN! Asante, has noted that "Afrocentricity resonates with the African-American community because it is fundamental to sanity. It is the fastest growing intellectual and practical idea in the community because of its validity when tested against other experiences". W.E.B. DuBois, in The Souls of Black Folks, has categorize three principle responses of African-Americans to the maladies associated with the C.A.I.D.S. especially white racism. They are l) revolt and revenge, 2) submission to the will of the racist, and 3) a determined effort for self-esteem . According DuBois, the first response of African-Americans to racism can be categorize as the slave insurrections led by Gabriel in Virginia in 1800, Vesey in Carolina in 1822, and Nat Turner also in Virginia around 1831. After slavery this period is best typified by the Black Nationalist Movement of the 960's, which began with the martyrdom of Malcolm X and the rise of militant organizations in African-American communities such as the Black Panthers, SNCC and the Republic of New Africa. These movements, like the slave rebellions a hundred years earlier were brutally suppressed and destroyed by local state and national police agencies. The second form of response made by African-American to white racism is typified by the African-American middle-class,Black Church and violent African-American gangs. The gangs show their affliction with C.A.I.D.S. through their preoccupation with acquiring material gain, wealth/money the cornerstones of Eurocentricism--the free enterprise economic system--with little concern about what happens to their fellow man in the process of acquiring material gain. Many African -American gangs will have very positive pro-Black "literature", i.e., by laws and history that they teach members of gang to justify their existence as a "positive" force in the community; but in reality , members of these gangs sell drugs and murder one another simply for the love of money. This only increases the riches of peopling living outside their communities, and supports the Eurocentric myths that African people cannot accomplish positive things without the guidance of Europeans, their culture and "science". The third response to white racism was formerly the "Negro" Renaissance of the 1920's. Today this response to white supremacy founded upon objective scholarship is Afrocentricism. An Afrocentric view of history is especially needed to combat the debilitating effects of white supremacy and C.A.I.D.S. A luta continua: the struggle continues. C.A. A Wake Up Call To All First of all May THE SUPREME FORCE, WHO IS THE SOURCE, BLESS US ALL TO SEE THE LIGHT OUT OF DARKNESS OF IGNORANT THOUGHTS, EVIL THOUGHTS, AND RAISE CONSCIOUSNESS THOUGHTS. To make all Humans To be Thinkers and to Annualize everything that has been thought to them as well as everything that has been brainwash into their mind. It is tragedies that make Humans who at a time made be Racist, forget about racism of any kind in times of tragedies like, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes, tidal waves, hurricanes, terrorist attacks, etc. All that racism crap is out the door for those moments while we all are in some type of tragedies. But let things start to get back normal and we are back to foolishness of Human hate against each other, religious hate against each other, self hate against each other and so on. The terrorist attack on any place in the USA as well as anywhere on our Great Planet Earth is a disgrace to so called suppose to be civilize Human Beings. Cause when any one is attack and lives are lost, buildings are destroyed, land is mess up, everyone forgets evil for the moment love and helping each one comes in for the moment, cries and comfort comes in for the moment. Then when things seems to get back in some type of order again from the chaos that just happen, then Boom. Evil hits again Media sets you to takes sides, people set you to take sides, everyone is looking to whom to blame, but no one is be a thinker and no one is annualizing and no one is seeking out the facts to get to the truths of what has happen. What was the cause that gave these effects, what are the actions we take now after we find out the cause, the effects to bring about justice. So now the hate is back in after we all just went through our sorrows, so we back to racism, evil hate the same crap from the last millennium in this millennium. Negative energy grabbing at Humans to destroy Humans, animals, lands Mother Earth. It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature. All Humans should be taught in all schools of thoughts about the acts of war, hate, evil, crimes against Humanity and especially on what war and hate does in throwing our Great Planet Earth out of balance. Cause if you the war masters use weapons of destruction on world levels like in World War 1 and World War 2 leading to World War 3, then Mother Nature a Super Force would have to move on Humans under the command of The Supreme Force, who is called by many names to make moves on all us Humans on Earth. For people who THINK, notice after the nuclear weapons that was used in the past World Wars since then there have been many sightings (whether your believe or not), of UFO's since then. There are many who do not know that 2 weeks before this terrible tragedy that has happen in The Great USA, there were sightings of UFO's on the east coast in New York in Long Island as well as Newark NJ. What does it all means ,your guess is as good as mine. For all that don't watch education TV shows there is talk of a volcanoes in the Canary Islands on the coast of Africa, that numerous scientist are saying that it can erupt any moment today, tomorrow or 50 years from now but it will happen and it will take 8 hours to get out of the East Coast of the USA before a Tidal Wave a hundred times bigger than the world trade center hit our shores. If that not enough California just had a 4.2 earthquake in LA but everyone is waiting on Nostradamus predictions to happen about the big one that will make California into small Islands. As if the west coast do not have enough with mud slides and fires. It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature. But Humans want to attack Humans with acts of terrorism and wars. OK just some years ago in the last millennium Turkey lost over 60,000 Humans in a Earthquake, Venezuela lost over 30,000 Humans to a earthquake and our country India cause the whole Earth is for all of us, India is still suffering like crazy losing hundreds of thousands since last millennium and now to Earthquakes and Floods. Europe in countries like Russia lost Humans to floods, wars all over Europe and Africa. West Indies hit by Hurricanes, Humans Lost, Japan earthquakes, floods more Human lives lost. Parts of Asia internal wars and earthquakes, more Human lives lost. Ireland religious internal wars, lives lost, England Terrorist acts more lives lost, racism in England against White Humans and Brown Indian Humans, more lives lost. Is there anybody out there thinking on UNITY and what needs to be done to save our Great Planet Earth. Have your forgot what our world wide scientist been telling us for years about the Ozone, the Sun Rays, Cancer, Aids, Diseases, Hunger, Poverty or did we forget that scientist say there is a Meteor heading towards Earth. Are Humans prepare for the Pole Shift that is taking place on our planet. Global Warming. That the ice in the Artic is melting causes all types of floods. And Humans want to do terrorist acts on other Humans, war with other Humans, be racist with other Humans, hate and kill other Humans, kill other Humans in The Name Of The Supreme Force or to even think foolishly that we are all alone in the Super Great Universe (Universes). It's a wake up call, each one teach one. It's not nice to FOOL with MOTHER NATURE LOVE AND RESPECT LIFE MAY THE SUPREME FORCE BLESS ALL THE HUMANS WHO HAVE DIE IN ACTS OF WAR OR ANY TRAGEDIES THAT HAVE HAPPEN ALL OVER EARTH. UNIVERSAL ZULU NATION WORLDWIDE THE 5TH ELEMENT OF HIP HOP CULTURE KNOWLEDGE, CULTURE, OVERSTANDING FACTOLOGY VS. BELIEFS BACK TO TOP\ The Hip-Hop Generation Can Call For Peace By Jeff Chang [Reply to: cantstopwontstop@mindspring.com] This past weekend, as we mourned the countless victims of 9/11 and built with each other in passionate conversations on what to do next, President George W. Bush finally and unequivocally declared war. He ordered a call-up of 50,000 reservists reinstituting the draft that could leave many innocent Afghanis dead or displaced. Reversing the Powell doctrine to seize upon a desire for vengeance, he warned that there may be no forseeable end to this war, and declared no specific enemy. This does not bode well for the hip-hop generation. As STORM, the Bay Area hip-hop activist organization says, "Increasingly, safety at home will require justice abroad." Bushs open-ended war could leave us increasingly insecure, subject to more terror not less, with less justice for all in the world. Because of its history, the global hip-hop generation can play a crucial moral role in the call for peace global peace free from terror. At one time, others dissed our generation by saying that we were privileged, that we had never been tested by war. [This was before Bushs father opened the Persian Gulf War.] The fact is that hip-hop was born under the conditions of war. It grew and spread as a global alternative to war. Before hip-hop, during the early 1970s, Jamaicas bloody tribal wars fostered a music and culture of defiance in roots, dancehall and dub reggae. This music and culture street and governmental neglect that when Ronald Reagan visited in 1980, he declared that it looked like London after World War II. In the Bronx, the Universal Zulu Nation, hip-hops first institution and organization, literally emerged from a peace forged between racially divided, warring gangs. As Reagan took office, immigration was rapidly browning the face of America. The "culture war" was declared diversity. Culture warriors went after youth in their schools; they fought multiculturalism, ethnic studies, and affirmative action. In Congress, they sought limits on movie and music content. Hip-hop turned out to be everything they detested truth-telling, unapologetic, and, worst of all, their kids loved it. Imagine how they felt when Chuck D enlistened millions into the opposition by rhyming, "They'll never care for the brothers and sisters cause the country has us up for a war." In one sense, hip-hop won the culture war. By the end of the 80s, Public Enemy and Spike Lee, John Singleton and N.W.A., and other brothers and sisters had crashed the lily-white pop culture mainstream. Hip-hop became the single most potent global youth force in a generation. But the culture war had serious political consequences, too. Right-wingers manufactured the conditions wars in Central America in stigmatizing inner-city gangs young, poor people of color Hip-hop reveled in the young generations diversity. The culture warriors taught other generations to be afraid of it. When the 90s came, they warned of a coming wave of juvenile crime, one that would crest with the darkening demographic surge. Their apocalyptic predications began a dramatic shift in juvenile justice, away from rehabilitation towards incarceration. 48 states made their juvenile crime statutes more punitive. Dozens of cities instituted curfews, anti-cruising laws, and sweep ordinances (which were ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court but have reappeared in many cities). Especially after the 1992 Los Angeles riots, as urgent gang truce work forged peaces across the country, the new laws were implemented at a feverish clip and enforced with a heavy hand. Juvenile arrests and detention populations skyrocketed, even as juvenile violent crime rates plummeted. Local police, the FBI, and private companies began compiling gang databases. Every young boy or girl of color who fit the profile athletic shoes, hip-hop swagger Cook County, IL, the gang database was two-thirds black. In Orange County, CA, 92 percent of those listed in the gang database were of color. Angry Black, Chicano and Latino parents in Denver, CO, learned that eight of every ten young people of color in the entire city were listed. Post-modern racial profiling was invented for the hip-hop Generation, the most catalogued and surveillanced in history. Along with the "war on drugs" prison population in world history youth" left a generation staring into a tense present and an insecure future. These are the reasons why thousands of hip-hop activists came out to protest at the Republican and Democratic Conventions last year. They took courageous stands against the massive profiling and imprisoning of a generation; against the death penalty; for better education; and for stopping gang violence. They linked these issues to global struggles for economic and racial justice. Now that President Bush has declared an open war with no clear enemy, the global, multiracial, polycultural hip-hop generation can elevate beyond the chant of "No justice, no peace" when uttered by Bush. If we can understand the history of wars from Israel to Afghanistan the way that we understand our own generations history, we can link what is happening on our streets with what is happening in our world. We can call for peace on our streets imprisoning, to be free from the cycle of violence that causes us to kill each other needlessly. And we can call for peace in our world that strikes our bodies and our hearts, to be free from the cycles of violence driven by geopolitical posturing and economic greed that cause us to kill each other needlessly. Everyone deserves a better, safer future. Hip-hop has already survived many wars. Time and again, we have learned how to react to crisis by forging a principled peace. As we stand on the brink of the biggest war we have ever faced, let us come together to find the most powerful, lasting peace yet.

A LETTER TO YOU FROM SATAN I saw you yesterday as you began your daily chores. You awoke without kneeling to pray. As a matter of fact, you didn't even bless your meals, or pray before going to bed last night. You are so unthankful, I like that about you. I cannot tell you how glad I am that you have not changed your way of living, Fool, you are mine. Remember, you and I have been going steady for years. and I still don't love you yet. As a matter of fact, I hate you, because I hate God. I am only using you to get even with God. He kicked me out of heaven, and I'm going to use you as long as possible to pay him back. You see, Fool, GOD LOVES YOU and HE has great plans in store for you. But you have yielded your life to me, and I'm going to make your life a living hell. That way, we'll be together twice. This will really hurt God. Thanks to you, I'm really showing Him who's boss in your life with all of the good times we've had. We have been watching dirty movies, cursing people out, stealing, lying, being hypocritical, fornicating, overeating, telling dirty jokes, gossiping, being judgmental, back stabbing people, disrespecting adults, and those in leadership positions, no respect for the Church, bad attitudes. SURELY you don't want to give all this up. Come on, Fool, let's burn together forever. I've got some hot plans for us. This is just a letter of appreciation from me to you. I'd like to say "THANKS" for letting me use you for most of your foolish life. You are so gullible, I laugh at you. When you are tempted to sin, you give in HA HA HA, you make me sick. Sin is beginning to take it's toll on your life. You look 20 years older, and now, I need new blood. So go ahead and teach some children how to sin. All you have to do is smoke, get drunk or drink while under-aged, cheat, gamble, gossip, fornicate, and live being as selfish as possible. Do all of this in the presence of children and they will do it too. Kids are like that. Well, Fool, I have to let you go for now. I'll be back in a couple of seconds to tempt you again. If you were smart, you would run somewhere, confess you sins, and live for God with what little bit of life that you have left. It's not my nature to warn anyone, but to be your age and still sinning, it's becoming a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I still hate you. IT'S JUST THAT YOU'D MAKE A BETTER FOOL FOR CHRIST. P.S. If you really love me, you won't share this letter with anyone. "A goal is a dream that has an ending." |

WORD FOR TODAY
AFRICAN CULTURE The original Hebrew (or He-hu-ba-ru) faith was faith in establishing Heru's kingdom on earth as the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of the true brotherhood of man being one and the same. Thus the original Hebrew faith was a branch of African divinity, or the African divinity of Heru, the only direct link between the souls of humankind and the Pure and Perfect Mind of God the Creator himself. That makes the glorified soul of Heru the God of the earth, and the Hebrew branch of his divinity one of the two olive trees described in Revelation 11:4. On the other hand, African culture has allowed African people to become first in HIV/ADIDS, first in hunger, first in stravation, and first in illiteracy. It should be obvious to any intelligent African that it is time to abandon African culture and get into African divinity and human culture (the highest order of human organization) being organized under the influence of the moral discilpines of African divinity. If we are to have the true brother of man on earth and the Kingdom of God on earth as being one and the same, then there is much that the Europeans must take the blame for (the list is virtually endless), but we must not blame the Europeans for what African culture has allow us to become, first in everything immoral and last in everything moral, first in everything void of intelligence and last in everthing filled with intelligence, first in suffering and last in healing. LUKE 6:39-42 "And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead
the blind:" "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" "Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye." It is a pitiful culture that is void of the intelligence to know when it is time to change, when it is time for all things to be made new. REVELATION 21:5 "And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I Make All Things New. and he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."_______________________________ In a message dated 7/29/2002 11:19:21 PM Eastern Daylight Time, valojo@earthlink.net writes:
My last visit to some African countries made me sick to the heart.
The culture of most Africans have gone worst from what it was in
1957. Independence has brought untold hardship on the continental
Africans. We are no more what we were even in the 1960s. All the
SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF AFRICA (SADA) have gone through the changes,
that the Europeans brought to Africa.
A disorganized group such as Africans in USA are a useless group, a hopeless group and a pathetic lot.

WORD FOR TODAY
We must never allow our mission to become dependent upon our success in
changing the White man or even the White man's government. The success
of our mission must only be dependent upon how well we change ourselves.
WORD FOR TODAY True Justice is the product of education. True education is the process of self-realization and liberation. Self-realization is the conscious awareness of one's true self, the eternal self. Liberation is being at liberty to become the master of one's own fate and destiny, by the Grace of God and the knowledge of the eternal self. Self-transformation comes within the process of self-realization and liberation. Freedom from being dependent of seeking justice from the hands of the unjust is the by-product thereof. Such freedom is the path to the ultimate realization of justice, which can only be found in the eternal self. REVELATION 22:11" He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."________________________________________________________ Sincerely Yours, In The Spirit of Eternal Love, Emmanuel Afraka WORD FOR TODAY TRUE FREEDOM True Freedom is being free from having others define who your enemies are. True Freedom is therefore being free to love, being free to love your neighbor and all your brothers and sisters of the human family as you love yourself. In the name of freedom, a government can forge a chain and bind its citizens in legislated behavior. But love cannot be legislated. The citizens are therefore bound in a false sense of freedom. Therein they feel free to retain hatred in their hearts for their neighbors--as long as their behavior is legislated. That is not freedom genuine. It is a counterfeit and all the participants therein are guilty of the most hideous crime. In the name of freedom, a priest can forge a chain and bind his congregation in the divine principles of freedom. The congregation accepts the divine principles of freedom in principle only but never put them into practice. The congregation is therefore guilty of fraud and the priest is a party to the crime. ___________________________________________________
WORD FOR TODAY In his rally cry "Up, Up You Mighty Race," Marcus Garvey declared that there is no greater tribute that we could pay to our Creator than to function as Man [Man created in the image of God] .GENESIS 3:8-9 "And they heard the voice of God walking in the
garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from
the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden." What was the Lord God looking for when He walked through the garden in the cool of the day? Was He looking for a Christian, a Muslim, a Jew, a Hebrew Israelite, a Rastafarian, a Hindu, a Buddhist, etc.? No, He was looking for a man, the man who He had created in his own image. In essence, God was looking for Himself in the form of a man. If that is what God was looking for in the beginning, that is what He will be looking for in the end. God does change. Therefore, there is no label we can put on ourselves to change God to look for something different that what He was looking for in the beginning. Such labels can be like the trees, among which Adam and Eve hid themselves because they were yet to develop into the image of God. They were yet to develop into a real man and woman. However, if other human beings choose to wear religious label and can still become the man or woman God was looking for in the beginning, then more power to them. Personally, I chose to stay away from such labels so I can be free to love the brother who labels himself a Christian just as much as I love the brother who labels himself a Muslim, and so on and so forth. If God is indeed unconditional love, as a man created in the image of God, I must also transform into unconditional love. For that is the ultimate essence of a MAN created in the image of God. Note: Man is used here as the default term for both man and woman. ______________________________________________________________

Racial
Label Surprises Many Latino Immigrants By Darryl Fears Washington Post Staff Writer Thursday, December 26, 2002 At her small apartment near the National Cathedral in Northwest Washington, Maria Martins quietly watched as an African American friend studied a picture of her mother. "Oh," the friend said, surprise in her voice. "Your mother is white." She turned to Martins. "But you are black." That came as news to Martins, a Brazilian who, for 30 years before immigrating to the United States, looked in the mirror and saw a morena -- a woman with caramel-colored skin that is nearly equated with whiteness in Brazil and some other Latin American countries. "I didn't realize I was black until I came here," she said. That realization has come to hundreds of thousands of dark-complexioned immigrants to the United States from Brazil, Colombia, Panama and other Latin nations with sizable populations of African descent. Although most do not identify themselves as black, they are seen that way as soon as they set foot in North America. Their reluctance to embrace this definition has left them feeling particularly isolated -- shunned by African Americans who believe they are denying their blackness; by white Americans who profile them in stores or on highways; and by lighter-skinned Latinos whose images dominate Spanish-language television all over the world, even though a majority of Latin people have some African or Indian ancestry. The pressure to accept not only a new language and culture, but also a new racial identity, is a burden some darker-skinned Latinos say they face every day. "It's overwhelming," said Yvette Modestin, a dark-skinned native of Panama who works as an outreach coordinator in Boston. "There's not a day that I don't have to explain myself." E. Francisco Lopez, a Venezuelan-born attorney in Washington, said he had not heard the term "minority" before coming to America. "I didn't know what it meant. I didn't accept it because I thought it meant 'less than,' " said Martins, whose father is black. " 'Where are you from?' they ask me. I say I'm from Brazil. They say, 'No, you are from Africa.' They make me feel like I am denying who I am." Exactly who these immigrants are is almost impossible to divine from the 2000 Census. Latinos of African, mestizo and European descent -- or any mixture of the three -- found it hard to answer the question "What is your racial origin?" Some of the nation's 35 million Latinos scribbled in the margins that they were Aztec or Mayan. A fraction said they were Indian. Nearly forty-eight percent described themselves as white, and only 2 percent as black. Fully 42 percent said they were "some other race." Between Black and White Race matters in Latin America, but it matters differently. Most South American nations barely have a black presence. In Argentina, Chile, Peru and Bolivia, there are racial tensions, but mostly between indigenous Indians and white descendants of Europeans. The black presence is stronger along the coasts of two nations that border the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela and Colombia -- which included Panama in the 19th century -- along with Brazil, which snakes along the Atlantic coast. In many ways, those nations have more in common racially with Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic than they do with the rest of South America. This black presence is a legacy of slavery, just as it is in the United States. But the experience of race in the United States and in these Latin countries is separated by how slaves and their descendants were treated after slavery was abolished. In the United States, custom drew a hard line between black and white, and Jim Crow rules kept the races separate. The color line hardened to the point that it was sanctioned in 1896 by the Supreme Court in its decision in Plessy v. Ferguson, which held that Homer Plessy, a white-complexioned Louisiana shoemaker, could not ride in the white section of a train because a single ancestor of his was black. Thus Americans with any discernible African ancestry -- whether they identified themselves as black or not -- were thrust into one category. One consequence is that dark-complexioned and light-complexioned black people combined to campaign for equal rights, leading to the civil rights movement of the 1960s. By contrast, the Latin countries with a sizable black presence had more various, and more fluid, experiences of race after slavery. African slavery is as much a part of Brazil's history as it is of the United States's, said Sheila Walker, a visiting professor of anthropology at Spelman College in Atlanta and editor of the book "African Roots/American Cultures." Citing the census in Brazil, she said that nation has more people of African descent than any other in the world besides Nigeria, Africa's most populous country. Brazil stands out in South America for that and other reasons. Unlike most nations there, its people speak Portuguese rather than Spanish, prompting a debate over whether Brazil is part of the Latino diaspora. Brazilian slavery ended in 1889 by decree, with no civil war and no Jim Crow -- and mixing between light- and dark-complexioned Indians, Europeans, Africans and mulattoes was common and, in many areas, encouraged. Although discrimination against dark-complexioned Brazilians was clear, class played almost as important a role as race. In Colombia, said Luis Murillo, a black politician in exile from that country, light-complexioned descendants of Spanish conquistadors and Indians created the "mestizo" race, an ideology that held that all mixed-race people were the same. But it was an illusion, Murillo said: A pecking order "where white people were considered superior and darker people were considered inferior" pervaded Colombia. Murillo said the problem exists throughout Latin American and Spanish-speaking Caribbean countries with noticeable black populations. White Latinos control the governments even in nations with dark-complexioned majorities, he said. And in nations ruled by military juntas and dictators, there are few protests, Murillo said. In Cuba, a protest by Afro-Cubans led to the arming of the island's white citizens and, ultimately, the massacre of 3,000 to 6,000 black men, women and children in 1912, according to University of Michigan historian Frank Guridy, author of "Race and Politics in Cuba, 1933-34." American-influenced Cuba was also home to the Ku Klux Klan Kubano and other anti-black groups before Fidel Castro's revolution. Now, Cuban racism still exists, some say, but black, mulatto and white people mix much more freely. Lopez, the Afro-Venezuelan lawyer, said, "Race doesn't affect us there the way it does here," he said. "It's more of a class thing." Jose Neinstein, a native white Brazilian and executive director of the Brazilian-American Cultural Institute in Washington, boiled down to the simplest terms how his people are viewed. "In this country," he said, "if you are not quite white, then you are black." But in Brazil, he said, "If you are not quite black, then you are white." The elite in Brazil, as in most Latin American nations, are educated and white. But many brown and black people also belong in that class. Generally, brown Brazilians, such as Martins, enjoy many privileges of the elite, but are disproportionately represented in Brazilian slums. Someone with Sidney Poitier's deep chocolate complexion would be considered white if his hair were straight and he made a living in a profession. That might not seem so odd, Brazilians say, when you consider that the fair-complexioned actresses Rashida Jones of the television show "Boston Public" and Lena Horne are identified as black in the United States. Neinstein remembered talking with a man of Poitier's complexion during a visit to Brazil. "We were discussing ethnicity," Neinstein said, "and I asked him, 'What do you think about this from your perspective as a black man?' He turned his head to me and said, 'I'm not black,' " Neinstein recalled. " . . . It simply paralyzed me. I couldn't ask another question." By the same token, Neinstein said, he never perceived brown-complexioned people such as Maria Martins, who works at the cultural institute, as black. One day, when an African American custodian in his building referred to one of his brown-skinned secretaries as "the black lady," Neinstein was confused. "I never looked at that woman as black," he said. "It was quite a revelation to me." Those perceptions come to the United States with the light- and dark-complexioned Latinos who carry them. But here, they collide with two contradictory forces: North American prejudice and African American pride. 'I've Learned to Be Proud' Vilson DaSilva, a native of Brazil, is a moreno. Like his wife, Maria Martins, he was born to a black father and a white mother. But their views on race seem to differ. During an interview when Martins said she had no idea how they had identified themselves on the 2000 Census form, DaSilva rolled his eyes. "I said we were black," he said. He is one of a growing number of Latin immigrants of African descent who identify themselves as Afro-Latino, along the same color spectrum as African Americans. "I've learned to be proud of my color," he said. For that, he thanked African American friends who stand up for equal rights. An emerging cadre of Latinos in Washington are embracing their African identities and speaking out against what they say is a white Latino establishment, in the U.S. and abroad. Lopez, the Afro-Venezuelan lawyer, who lives in Columbia Heights, said there was prejudice even in such Hispanic civil rights organizations as the League of United Latin American Citizens, the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund and the National Council of La Raza, where, he said, few dark-complexioned Latinos work in the offices or sit on the board. "La Raza? Represent me? Absolutely not," Lopez said. Charles Kamasaki, an analyst for La Raza, disagreed. "I don't think you can make snap judgments like that," he said. "The way race is played out in Latino organizations is different. There are dark-complexioned people on our board, but I don't know if they identify as Afro-Latino. Our president is mestizo. I would resist the assertion that this organization is excluding anyone because of race." Yvette Modestin, the black Panamanian who identifies as an Afro-Latina, said that although she accepts her blackness, she's also an immigrant who speaks Spanish. In other words, she's not a black American. "My brother's married to a Mexican," she said. "My brother's been called a sellout by black women while walking down the street with his wife. They are both Latino. They think he married outside his race." DaSilva agreed that nuances separate African Americans and Afro-Latinos, but he also believes that seeing Latin America through African American eyes gave him a better perspective. Unfortunately, he said, it also made him angrier and more stressed. When DaSilva returned to Brazil for a visit, he asked questions he had never asked, and got answers that shocked him. His mother told him why her father didn't speak to her for 18 years: "It was because she married a black man," he said. One day, DaSilva's own father pulled him aside to provide his son some advice. " 'You can play around with whoever you want,' " DaSilva recalled his father saying, " 'but marry your own kind.' " So DaSilva married Martins, the morena of his dreams. She is dreaming of a world with fewer racial barriers, a world she believes she left in Brazil to be with her husband in Washington. As Martins talked about the nation's various racial blends in her living room, her 18-month-old son sat in front of the television, watching a Disney cartoon called "The Proud Family," about a merged black American and black Latino family. The characters are intelligent, whimsical, thoughtful, funny, with skin tones that range from light to dark brown. The DaSilvas said they would never see such a show on Latin American TV. Martins said her perspective on race was slowly conforming to the American view, but it saddened her. She doesn't understand why she can't call a pretty black girl a negrita, the way Latin Americans always say it, with affection. She doesn't understand why she has to say she's black, seeming to deny the existence of her mother. "Sometimes I say she is black on the outside and white on the inside," DaSilva said of his wife, who threw her head back and laughed. © 2002 The Washington Post Company |

'Stakes Is
High'
by JEFF CHANG Fifteen years ago, rappers like Public Enemy, KRS-One and Queen Latifah were received as heralds of a new movement. Musicians--who, like all artists, always tend to handle the que....... f youth culture. The "hip-hop lifestyle" is now available for purchase in every suburban mall. "Political rap" has been repackaged by record companies as merely "conscious," retooled for a smaller niche as an alternative. Instead of drinking Alizé, you drink Sprite. Instead of Versace, you wear Ecko. Instead of Jay-Z, you listen to the Roots. Teen rap, party rap, gangsta rap, political rap--tags that were once a mere music critic's game--are literally serious business. "Once you put a prefix on an MC's name, that's a death trap," says Talib Kweli, the gifted Brooklyn-born rapper who disdains being called "conscious." Clearly his music expresses a well-defined politics; his rhymes draw from the same well of protest that nourished the Last Poets, the Watts Prophets and the Black Arts stalwarts he cites as influences. But he argues that marketing labels close his audience's minds to the possibilities of his art. When Kweli unveiled a song ca........ s Five released "The Message," a dirge (by the standards of the day) that seethed against the everyday violence of disinvestment. Flash was certain the record, which was actually an A&R-pushed concoction by Duke Bootee and Melle Mel, would flop; it was too slow and too depressing to rock a party. But Sugar Hill Records released the song as a single over his objections, and "The Message" struck the zeitgeist like a bull's-eye. Liberal soul and rock critics, who had been waiting for exactly this kind of statement from urban America, championed it. Millions of listeners made it the third platinum rap single. Through the mid-1980s, Melle Mel, Afrika Bambaataa and Soul Sonic Force, Run-DMC and others took up the role of the young black lumpenrapper opposition, weighing in on topics like racism, nuclear proliferation and apartheid. And just as the first Bush stepped into office, a new generation began to articulate a distinctly post-civil righ....... dutainment" came out of the convergence of two very different desires: the need for political empowerment and the need to be empowered by images of truth. On 1990's "Can I Kick It?," A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg captured the mood of his audience sweetly and precisely: "Mr. Dinkins, will you please be our mayor?" But while Mayor Dinkins's career quickly hit a tailspin, hip-hop rose by making blackness--even radical blackness--the worldwide trading currency of cultural cool. In the new global entertainment industry of the 1990s, rap became a hot commodity. But even as the marketing dollars flowed into youth of color communities, major labels searched for ways to capture the authenticity without the militancy. Stakes was high, as De La Soul famously put it in 1996, and labels were loath to accept such disruptions on their investments as those that greeted Ice-T and Body Count's "Cop Killer" during the '92 election season. Rhymers kickin........ ed Roc-A-Fella company peddles branded movies, clothing and vodka. Hip-hop, some academics assert, is hegemonic. But as the social turmoil described by many contemporary rappers demonstrates, this generation of youth of color is as alienated and downpressed as any ever has been. And the act of tying music to lifestyle--as synergy-seeking media companies have effectively done--has distorted what marketers call the "aspirational" aspects of hip-hop while marginalizing its powers of protest. Yet the politics have not disappeared from popular rap. Some of the most stunning hits in recent years--DMX's "Who We Be," Trick Daddy's "I'm a Thug," Scarface's "On My Block"--have found large audiences by making whole the hip-hop generation's cliché of "keeping it real," being true to one's roots of struggle. The video for Nappy Roots' brilliant "Po' Folks" depicts an expansive vision of rural Kentucky--black and white, young and old together, living l......... c 5, Zion I and dead prez have attained modest success by offering visions of twenty-first-century blackness--hypertextual rhymes, stuttering rhythms and lush sounds rooted in a deep understanding of African-American cultural production and ready-made for a polycultural future. The Roots' album Phrenology stretches hip-hop's all-embracing method--the conviction that "every music is hip-hop" and ready to be absorbed--to draw from a palette as wide as Jill Scott, Bad Brains, James Blood Ulmer and the Cold Crush Brothers. Common's Electric Circus takes cues from Prince and Sly Stone in reimagining the hip-hop concept album. Tensions often spring from the compromises inherent in being given the budget to build a statement while being forced to negotiate the major label's Pavlovian pop labyrinth, and others have left the system to, as Digital Underground once famously put it, do what they like, albeit for much smaller audiences. Public Enemy has ...... ll Scott, Goapele and Angie Stone to mix up and transform both rap and r&b. "Neosoul" has been especially attractive to women and post-young 'uns. Its hip-hop feminist critique came into sharp relief last year. After years of flying high, rap sales crashed by 15 percent, leading an industrywide plunge. But multiplatinum newcomers Alicia Keys and India.Arie were garlanded with a bevy of Grammy nominations. Keys and Arie celebrated "a woman's worth" and were frankly critical of male irresponsibility. India.Arie's breakout hit "Video"--in which she sang, "I'm not the average girl from your video"--stole the music that had once been sampled for a rap ode to oral sex called "Put It in Your Mouth." Hip-hop feminism has been articulated by Joan Morgan as a kind of loyal but vocal, highly principled opposition to black (and brown and yellow) male übermasculinity. In the same way, neosoul dissects the attitudes and ideals projected in the hip-......... transformation. "Back in the '60s, there was a big push for black senators and politicians, and now we have more than we ever had before, but our communities are so much worse," says Talib Kweli. "A lot of people died for us to vote, I'm aware of that history, but these politicians are not in touch with people at all. Politics is not the truth to me, it's an illusion." For a generation that has made a defensive virtue of keeping it real, the biggest obstacle to societal change may simply be the act of imagining it. These are the kinds of paradoxes the silver-tongued Kweli grapples with on his second solo album, Quality, as masterful a summation of the hip-hop generation's ambivalent rage as Morgan's book, When Chickenheads Come to Roost. On one of his early songs, Kweli synthesized 1960s militancy and 1990s millenarianism in a phrase, rapping about the need for "knowledge of self-determination." At one point on the Nina Simone-flavored "Get....... nt is Bush, the Vice President is Dick, so a whole lotta fucking is what we get. They don't want to raise the baby so the election is fixed. That's why we don't be fucking with politics!" But politicians can't stop fucking with rap and the hip-hop generation. Senator Joe Lieberman regularly rallies cultural conservatives against the music. Michael Powell's corporate-friendly, laissez-faire FCC has censored only the white male rap star Eminem and the black feminist hip-hop poet Sarah Jones. Texas Republican John Cornyn overcame African-American Democrat Ron Kirk's November Senate bid by linking him to police-hating (and, interestingly, ballot-punching) rappers. When Jam Master Jay, the well-respected, peace-making DJ of rap group Run-D.M.C., was murdered in October, police and federal investigators intensified their surveillance of rappers while talking heads and tabloids like the New York Post decried the music's, and this generation's,
PRESS RELEASE
Once Again, December 10th Is The 54th Anniversary Celebration Of The United Nation's (UN) Universal Charter Declaration On Human Rights. However: "European/American Enslavement & Colonization Of African People Is A Human Rights Abuse, Lest We Forget!" Yes, once again, December 10th comes around as the United Nations (UN) date to celebrate its Charter outlining the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. The Charter states that every human being has an "Inalienable Right" to exist on this Planet Earth, without being oppressed nor suppressed of his or her rights. However, the AFRIKAN WORLD REPARATIONS & REPATRIATION TRUTH COMMISSION (AWRRTC) does not believe the signatories who appended their signature to this historic document ever realistically intended for this Charter-Universal Declaration on Human Rights to apply to Black African people. First of all, I say this because at the time of drawing up this document in the late 1940s and it subsequently becoming a Universal Charter, there was not one African nation that was a party to help formulate this Charter. In fact, at that period of time, the whole of the African Content was still under European Colonization save Ethiopia and Liberia, which were the only African independent states. The African Continent was being colonized by Aryan-white European nations such as England, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. Germany had lost her African colonies to France and England as a result of losing World War II. Also, during this same period of time, other regions of the world were being colonized by these same nations; with the addition of Denmark and Netherlands (Holland), colonizing regions in the Antilles of the West Indies; and the United States of America (USA) colonizing the Hawaii Islands and Puerto Rico. Mind you, a great number of these nations who drew up the UN Charter-Universal Declaration on Human Rights, in fact, at that period of time were in violation or contravening the very law that they had designed and signed to protect Human Rights. These same nations were still colonizing the African Continent, and were the same nations who had brutally enslaved African people for over 400 years, causing the deaths of no less than 210 million Black Africans throughout the period of the Atlantic Slave Trade (Source: UNESCO Summary Conference, January 31st through February 4th, 1978, Porte au Prince, Haiti; New African Magazine, March 2000, No. 383, page 8, London). Is this not the highest degree of hypocrisy and the epitome of liars? Yes it is! These Aryan-white Europeans and Americans were signing such a Historic Document, while at the same time, "Illegally" occupying African sovereign land, as well as violating African peoples' Human Rights. Today, all African people around the world must challenge each year this UN Charter-Universal Declaration on Human Rights on December 10th, since Black Africans are the only human beings, to date, who have been denied this "Inalienable" right for over 400 years. Moreover, not one iota of Reparations nor Compensation has ever been rewarded to any African on the Continent nor in the Diaspora by these culprit nations for the crimes they committed against African people. In furtherance of African people having a legitimate claim for Reparations (Compensation) against the European/American enslavers and colonizers, last year, the UN-World Conference Against Racism (WCAR) held in Durban, South Africa (August 28th through September 7th, 2001) officially issued its Declaration stating that the "Trans Atlantic Slave Trade" is a "Crime Committed Against Humanity". However, even though the UN-WCAR in Durban, South Africa finally ended with a Declaration, it was not without shameful controversy. The USA delegation within the first couple of days into the Conference, turned its hind-parts to the UN organizers and its 2500 non-governmental organizations, representing people of colour throughout the world, who had been enslaved and/or colonized by Europeans and Americans. The USA delegation blatantly refused to even acknowledge its role in slavery and colonization. Also, the European nations' official delegations threaten to walkout if the final draft of the Declaration did not indemnify them (free them) from being responsible to financially pay African people who they enslaved and colonized. Simply put, they refused to pay African people Reparations (Compensation) as a result of enslaving and colonizing them for over 400 years. However, they "Agreed" in writing to "Apologize" to African people for causing their enslavement and colonization. How hypocritical this is. This does not make any logical sense at all. The criminal admits his guilt of the crime and apologize, but refuses to pay any financial compensation to the injured victim(s). This is truly a big "wake-up call!" to all Black African people, letting you know the "mindset" of Aryan-white Europeans and Americans, in terms of how they view the Black African race. So let us Africans not forget that our time has come by speaking out under the theme below on December 10th. African Venezuelans fear new U.S. coup against President Chavez Written by Professor Alejandro Correa of Barlovento, Venezuela with assistance from Willie Thompson, Professor emeritus City College of San Francisco This article appeared in the Venezuela and Chavez Watch page of Trinicenter.com. This month, for the first time in history, Venezuelan people of African descent have total control of their historic Black university, the Instituto Universitario Barlovento. They are already planning a university administered hotel and a restaurant for students, faculty and the community. This is an achievement of a lifetime, and the people of Barlovento gather around their seat of higher learning to reflect on their success. Another topic on their minds and hearts is the fate of President Hugo Chavez. He is Venezuela's first multiracial president and is called "Negro" (nigger) by his detractors because of his African-Indigenous features. Behind the enemies of Venezuela and Hugo Chavez are very large sums of money being spent to destroy the dreams of the people who historically have been discriminated against because of race, economic ideas, etc. These dreams of the African Venezuelan people may be deferred if the United States replaces Chavez with a rightwing businessman as president. Currently, three Blacks are state governors elected by the people; the secretary of education is Black; two Indigenous Venezuelans are congresspersons elected directly by the people; Indigenous Venezuelans have the complete right to claim their historic lands; land is protected and available to Black and Indigenous Venezuelan farmers so that they can now engage in farming for the first time in generations; and Venezuelans of African descent are participating in conferences against racism around the world and establishing strategic relationships with international organizations. They have attended Congressional Black Caucus conferences in 2000, 2001 and 2002; the pre-conference against racism in Chile in 2000; and the United Nations World Conference Against Racism in Durban, South Africa, in 2001. The African Venezuelan community in Barlovento also hosted the Second International Reunion of the African Latin Family in 1999. Sixty percent of the population of Venezuela are people of African descent. The others are Mestizos of Indigenous and European descent and Indigenous. The support of the people of African descent in the United States is one of the most strategic factors in helping the people of African descent survive and prosper in Venezuela. President Hugo Chavez was elected in a democratic election with more than 70 percent of the 11 million votes cast. One of his first actions was to call for an election of a National Constituency Assembly whose mission was to reform the 1969 national Constitution. During 40 years of democracy this Constitution was used to avoid empowering the people. The election of the National Constituency Assembly allowed the participation of students, business related organizations, community representatives and parties opposed to the president in the Assembly. The entire society had its opportunity in the Assembly. The National Constituency Assembly designed a new national constitution, which was widely discussed all around the country. Then a national election was called to consider the acceptance of the new constitution. The Venezuelan people, in direct election, said, "We do accept the new constitution" in 1999. New national elections were called at all levels of government to test the acceptance of the new constitution and renegotiate the public powers. President Hugo Chavez, again, won the election with over one million votes more than his closest opponent. The party supporting Chavez also won, as did several state governors who belonged to the party. During his three years in power - the complete term is six years - President Chavez has been an advocate for the education of the poor. After 50 years of being eliminated, schools were created with full schedules from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing children to stay longer in recreational programs and special classes. Never before have small businesses flourished with the full support of the government at the local and national levels. Chavez has opened the doors for the participation of those who have long been excluded. When President Chavez came to power, 80 percent of the population lived below poverty. Overcoming this difficult obstacle requires a joint effort at all levels of society. Unfortunately, the support has not echoed in the upper economic brackets of Venezuelan society. What have they done? Organizing a coup is not the way to support the government. Venezuela is the fourth largest oil producer in the world and the second largest oil exporter to the United States. President Chavez has never threatened the export of oil to the U.S. He has visited the U.S. about five times, holding meetings with businesspersons, seeking to stimulate foreign investment in Venezuela in order to raise the level of employment and mitigate the conditions of the poor. Unfortunately, the sectors of society wanting to reverse these important advances decided to violate Venezuelan democracy. A group of renegade military generals formed a coalition with "businessmen" - land owners whose ancestors stole it from Indigenous Venezuelans and used enslaved African labor to build the Venezuelan economy and society. Some members of the press also belong to the business establishment. Three main private TV stations led a campaign against the evolution of democratic change in the same style Hitler used against the Jews: "Say a lie a thousand times and everybody will believe it as a truth." These forces formed a coup to destroy freedom in Venezuela. For three days they controlled the government and instituted practices not seen in Venezuela since the '50s, during the days of the military rulers. Venezuelans in their 60s were astonished to see such violations of civil rights. Leaders of the coup imprisoned President Chavez, isolating him from any public contact, lying about a presidential resignation, dissolving all legitimate national powers at all levels. Then they started hunting down the legitimate members of Congress and of the president's cabinet. Even the Supreme Court was forced to resign. They did all that in a period of three days. Further, they derogated the 1999 constitution. In response, however, people of all races and backgrounds took to the streets, the military bases and public buildings to liberate President Chavez. He is in control again. Venezuelans watched with deep concern how Ari Fleisher, Bush's press secretary, and Condoleezza Rice, Bush's defense advisor - a Black woman - avoided calling the coup against President Chavez what it really was: a vulgar, right wing coup against a democratic government. Both have used vague rhetoric to criticize Chavez' administration rather than condemn the coup. The Bush administration in general looked with sympathy at the coup and issued no declaration condemning it. The New York Times also has presented the facts in a less than objective way. Rather than going into the countryside to talk with the people, Times reporters appear to have visited only the Caracas suburbs to assess public opinion. Furthermore, the local media consider only the opinions of wealthy people. All other opinions are considered unworthy. So, if you are poor or if you are not in agreement with the media, then you are not considered a part of the public opinion. U.S. Senator Christopher Dodd has expressed dismay over the Bush administration's behavior regarding the situation in Venezuela. His position is an example of goodwill and is appreciated by Venezuelans. There's an international effort to destroy the public image of President Chavez. Let us briefly analyze it. 1) Hugo Chavez has visited Iraq, Iran and Libya. Because he is a friend of those nations, he is branded an enemy of the United States. Venezuela and the countries visited by President Chavez are members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). Together with these countries, Venezuela regulates oil prices and must agree with them on strategies for maintaining profitability while at the same time making prices affordable to the oil importing countries such as the U.S. With 60 percent of its national budget based on oil income, clearly Venezuela must talk with members of OPEC. This doesn't make Venezuela a partner in terrorism as has been insinuated by the U.S. and the media. 2) Hugo Chavez is a friend of Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro. It is insinuated that he is therefore an enemy of the U.S. Venezuela is a free and self-determining nation in its business relations with Cuba. It has a right to have business relations with China or any other country. 3) It is said that Hugo Chavez didn't condemn the attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, and is therefore an enemy of the U.S. But President Chavez most certainly did condemn the Sept. 11 attacks and said, just as France and Russia and the Pope did, that he doesn't support a heavy and indiscriminate attack against Afghanistan which might cause civilian casualties. The Bush administration considers neither the presidents of France and Russia nor the Pope as enemies of the U.S. and is not willing to plan and finance a coup against those leaders because they express humanitarian points of view. 4) President Chavez is said to be a supporter of the Colombian guerrillas and is therefore involved in terrorism. The truth is that President Chavez has condemned terrorism in Colombia. Furthermore, the Venezuelan government under his administration has been a mediator in peace talks between the guerrillas and the Colombian government. 5) The people of the U.S. should think deeply about U.S. support of the failed coup and its leaders and its plans to change the regime in Venezuela. The result of President Chavez' trip to oil exporting countries was agreement on a solid oil price. In Venezuela, the price of oil is extremely important for education, health care and public services generally. The first declaration of the leaders of the failed coup was the abandonment of the quota system, which caused oil prices to drop. Writer's note: Africans and people of African descent are beginning to tell our own story. Most other people have no vested interest in telling the truth about us. Professor Correa of Barloyento University is an African Venezuelan, and he tells the story of the achievements of African Venezuelans, the United States' participation in the failed attempt to overthrow President Chavez, and the certain reversal of the social, economic, cultural and psychological gains to African Venezuelans if President Chavez is overthrown. He pleads with us to: 1) discuss in open forums, churches and community organizations the U.S. attacks on Venezuela and the conditions there, and 2) write letters to the U.S. Congress asking that the U.S. respect the Venezuelan government and follow the rule of law and international treaties in dealing with Venezuela. The attack on
Colin Powell prompts questions I'm not supposed to ask
By Dave Duffy What's wrong with black Americans? Provocative question, isn't it, especially when it's being asked by a white guy like me. We white guys aren't supposed to question what blacks do, because it automatically makes us a racist. Which brings up another obvious question: How come blacks can criticize whites, calling them honkies and racists at the drop of a hat, but whites can't criticize blacks? Let me break my first question down into some smaller, more obvious questions: How come when Harry Belafonte recently called Secretary of State Colin Powell "a house slave" for serving in the Bush administration, few blacks came to Powell's defense? Is it because they resented Powell's heroic climb from the slums of New York to chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, then to the inner circle of the White House, without asking for any special treatment along the way? How about when Congress was interrogating Clarence Thomas some years back during his confirmation hearings for the Supreme Court. When a lone woman accused Thomas of sexual impropriety, black leaders joined in the attack with a fury. But later, when Clinton was accused of the same thing and worse, by many women with many corroborating witnesses, blacks came to Clinton's defense? When Thomas was exonerated and confirmed, his accuser, Anita Hill, went on the speaking circuit for years attacking Justice Thomas, but few blacks criticized her. Clinton was impeached over his improprieties, but just the other day he became the first white man to be inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame as an honorary member. What gives? Is it because Clarence Thomas was another black heroic figure who broke ranks and rose to the pinnacles of the justice system by his own determination and hard work, and Clinton has always been the white crusader wanting ever more free federal dollars for downtrodden blacks? How about the O.J. Simpson affair? Simpson brutally murdered two innocent people. DNA tests proved it, and overwhelming evidence proved it. Yet a mainly black jury voted him "not guilty," and we all witnessed the TV scenes of crowds of blacks cheering wildly when the verdict was announced. Did they cheer because Simpson had killed two whites and got away with it? Sure looked like it! Why did 85% of black congress people vote against America going to war with Iraq 10 years ago, and why do Congressional blacks now hold rallies against us going to war with Iraq again? They claim it's because blacks represent a larger percentage of the armed forces so it is they who will be asked to die. But I think that's just cover for the real reason, namely that they think America is the villain in this showdown. They empathize with Iraq as the underdog, just as they perceive themselves as the underdog in America. It's America they hate, not Iraq. And here's a really racist question: Why haven't blacks assimilated completely into American society, even after the federal government has spent more than $700 billion dollars on the poor-largely on poor blacks-since former President Lyndon Johnson vastly expanded welfare with his War on Poverty nearly 40 years ago? Irish people like me have assimilated, and my immigrant ancestors were valued below slaves when they arrived on the boats in places like New York and New Orleans at the height of their great flight from Irish hunger a century ago. And millions of Mexicans are assimilating right before our eyes. Is it really because racism continues to keep blacks down, or is it their own fault, a fault that mainly has to do with their desire-or lack of it-to stand on their own two feet? These are all terrible questions for a white man to ask, I know. I must indeed be a racist to bring these things up. But I can't help it. When I watch Colin Powell, one of the greatest Americans of my lifetime, being viciously attacked by activists like Belafonte, with people like Jesse Jackson and Spike Lee joining in, I feel like screaming: What are you fools doing? Powell is a black man who has lived the American Dream. He didn't do it with the federal handouts that have done nothing for blacks but make them a permanent underclass in America. He did it by himself. Why aren't you rising in outrage against Belafonte and the rest of the attackers. Isn't this what the War on Poverty was all about, to make sure poor people, especially poor black people, could take part in the American Dream? Of course we all, in our bitter, racist, heart of hearts, know the answer to all my questions. Black heroes like Colin Powell and Clarence Thomas believe in the wrong ideology. They believe in self- reliance. They are renegades from a liberal ideology that says blacks can't take care of themselves. Rather than criticize those blacks who have made themselves a success, blacks should feel ashamed that they, as a race, have wandered in the wilderness from one type of slavery only to find another: the new nanny state of black slavery, with Jesse Jackson and a host of white bureaucrats directing how all the welfare freebies are to be divied up. But step out of line, as Powell and Thomas did, and they'll be after your ass with a vengeance, accusing you of every crime in the book and calling you the white man's house slave. That's about as ironic as it gets! My Irish immigrant mother has some advice for black Americans: She gave it to me in the 1950s when I was a boy in all Irish South Boston. I had been boasting about how great it was to be Irish. She told me curtly: "You are not Irish, you are American. Act like it!" http://www.backwoodshome.com E-Mail Dave Duffy ~~~~~~~~~~ Spread the Word

q.storm@juno.com writes:
The following are a list of things, which I hope will help you see clearly the roots of the name Africa:1. What is now known as Egyptian hieroglyphics was born out of Hamitic Ethiopian Hieroglyphics. 2. In both the Hamitic Ethiopian and the Egyptian hieroglyphics, Af meant flesh, Ra meant God, and Ka meant double or spiritual double. Since our Heavenly Father Heru was recognized as the God of the earth, he was given the title Af-ra-ka, which meant that he was recognized as the Flesh of God's Double on earth. 3. Genesis 11:1 tells us that there was a time when the whole earth was one language. Though there has never been a time when the whole earth was one language, there was a time when the Hamitic language groups dominate all of northeast Africa and the Middle-East, and parts of India. Remember that Nimrod was the grandson of Ham, as in the Hamitic language. After the fall of Nimrod's Babylon (Hamitic Ethiopian Babylon), many Arabs began to translate the legacy and remnants of the Gospel of Heru in their own languages. Heru and his Black (or Hamitic) descendants retained the title Afraka, the flesh of Ra's double. Ultimately the entire Black race became known as Africans. Even the Indo-European Jews, when translating their version of the original Hebrew language, recognized Heru's (or Adam's) descendants as the Sons of God, which stemmed from them original that identified them as the flesh of God's double, Afraka (Genesis 6:1-4). 4. Even before the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, there was much confusion concerning the vowel sounds in the original Hamitic Ethiopian hieroglyphics So much so, that Indo-European Jews, when formulating their version of Hebrew, dismissed writing vowel sounds all together. Now (even after the discovery of the Rosetta Stone) there is still much confusion concerning the vowel sounds that were in the original Hamitic Ethiopian hieroglyphics Even to this day Egyptologists aren't sure if the God of the Hamitic Ethiopian and Egyptians was named Ra or Re. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out how Afraka became known as Afrika or Africa.
The most powerful language group, into which the Gospel of Heru was translated, was the Cushite language groups. For thousands of years, the Hamitic roots of the literal Cushite language groups remained dominant. Thus many of the origianl Hamitic words, like Af, Ra, and Ka, retained their original form and meaning. However, because there were so many different translations, many distorted versions of the original Gospel of Heru took root in Egypt. Nevertheless, today we can still read through the many distortions to find the truth. 2. Volume 1 "The Gods of The Egyptians" by E. A. Wallis Budge Page 228 informs us that there is a flesh of Ra on earth called Af-Ra . Page 206 tells us that Ra, in the form of Af , is the Sun of Night, which is Black Light (or Black Intelligence), the Original Light of Creation. We are also told that Heru-Hekenu, Hu, and the Ka (double) of Shu are with the flesh of Ra in the boat that sails over the heavens. Shu was originally known as Hehu, from which came the He-hu-ba-ru (the Hebrews). Hehu was an atomic component of Creation and the physical body of Ra known today as a proton. Since Hehu was called the Ka of Shu, there must have been anti-protons that made up Ra's body of Black Light. Page 257 tells us that to say Af was drawn by a loyal servant is the same as saying Ra was drawn by the servant. Thus there was an obvious Af-Ra-Ka. Page 274 is for those who doubt that the Indo-European Jews developed their concept of God from the remnants of the Gospel of Heru they found in Egypt, which also contained the history of the He-hu-ba-ru, the original Hebrews. On page 274, we learn that the Seven Mansions are ruled, under Dumah, by three angels, one of whom is called Af. Another angel was called Khema in Indo-European Jewish Hebrew, which no doubt came from a mis-translation of Khnemu, a name given to Heru in Northern Nubia and Thebes. This is just a tiny bit of evidence amidst tons of evidence on the subject of where the Indo-European Jews got their concept of God. Sincerely Yours, In The Spirit of Eternal Emmanuel Afraka

If
Afrikans Were White
By Kwaku Person-Lynn, Ph.D. When people think of Afrika, it is generally a highly negative view born out of and perpetuated during slavery and colonialism: illiterate, no history, savage, bestial, no written language, wild and good only for safaris. This distorted perception prevents humanity from knowing about its most important place related to its origin and an organizational structure we all live in, civilization. In the 1960s, rock music became the rage among the white flower power generation. It was the musical anthem among white youth as hip hop is among all youth today. A curious thing happened along the way though. White youth wanted to know the genesis of rock music. It had developed a subculture as all musical revolutions do. When the white youth, musicians, critics and journalists searched for the musical roots of the music they loved, it led them straight to artists of Afrikan descent who played the blues. After all, rock music is nothing but electrified blues. A renaissance of recognition was created among black blues players, because white youth had discovered and patronized them. This also happened during the so-called Harlem Renaissance. The exact same thing could happen in the study of Afrikan world civilizations. If one wanted to know about the history of their family, shouldn't one also want to know about the history of their species? If the original people to come out of Afrika were white, Afrika today would be the top tourist package in the world. The most popular tourist attraction of all time would be to see who could find the exact place where the original human being evolved from, whereas today, that endeavor is left only to specialized scientists. The Nile Valley would be so overbooked that reservations would have to be made years in advance. People would want to see and study how the world's first advanced civilization developed during the ancient period. The pyramids would be studied 100 fold compared to the present. Thousands of people would want to know the engineering techniques used, without the benefit of today's machinery and technology. Mathematicians would want to know how they created the algebra, geometry, physics and calculus used in the design (creation of architecture) and construction, even before there was a place called Europe, Greece or Rome. Politicians and civil servants would flock to know how such a civilization could create the world's first public works project in building the pyramids: organizing, cooking, feeding, housing, sanitation, payment, medical, recreation, water supply in a desert, transportation, and a host of other related items. Medical professionals and researchers would comb the continent to discover how medicine and medications became so advanced before the western world even knew of the concept of medicine and the healing arts. Everyone would want to know how these people in Afrika, if they had been white, came about studying the particles and functions of substances that ultimately became the science of chemistry. Religious people and theologians would take a much more critical look at the early Kemetic (Egyptian) literary work, The Book Of Coming Forth By Day And By Night, which some scholars see as the precursor to the Bible, because of the similarity of stories such as the immaculate conception and resurrection related to Ausar (Osiris), Auset (Isis) and Heru (Horus), which now refers to Mary and Jesus. Objects such as the wheel, which allowed the Kemetic chariots to roll hundreds of years before the Roman version, would be cherished collectors' items. Temples showing the first calendar, number system, time instrument, flood indicator, medical instruments, harvesting tools, musical instruments, childbirth techniques and a host of other human ingenuities would be studied in every educational institution. World history, if the original Afrikans were white, would be ten times more expansive and required than it is today. There would no longer be efforts to hide how Afrikans established civilizations all over Asia, including India, China and Japan. Europe would not have separated from Asia and would proudly promote that Afrikans established the first civilization there. There would not be such criticism about Afrikans sailing to the Americas hundreds of years before Columbus. In fact, America may have been called New Afrika, as America's founding fathers attempted to make Washington D.C., New Egypt. What would not be such a secret today, Afrika holds the key to industrialized civilizations. It possesses natural resources found nowhere else on the planet. Europe would probably starve if Afrika did not serve as its food basket. Western countries are now politically maneuvering around Afrika to reap the benefits of its massive oil reserves. Nuclear and missile programs could not exist without certain minerals that can only be attained in Afrika. Although the original Afrikans, who were Black, accomplished all of the magnificent accomplishments previously mentioned, they are not studied with the intensity and interest they would if the original Afrikans were white. This is a major tragedy in the world, academia and public education, because it could eliminate many of the negative stereotypes associated with Afrika and its descendents. Until the history of Afrika and its place in world development is seen equally as any other human history, we will continue to suffer from a basic one-sided view of the world, fueled by the greatest collective mental illness known to humanity, white supremacy: racism. Attend Afrikan Mental Liberation Films at Compton Community College, Saturday and Sunday, April 5th & 6th, 10:00am - 8:00pm both days, featuring lectures and documentaries from the Afrikan world's greatest scholars. Africa today is rooted in the culture of male
domination and chauvinism that came with Europeans to our continent. They were all men." Take the Yoruba for example; women have always been in charge of commerce and the markets for commodities. Thus, most Yoruba women are usually financially independent of their husbands or male family members, and not infrequently, actually more wealthy. The Ijebu and the Egba allow female heads of family, and Yoruba families never take decisions without due consultation with the women folk of the family. Women have also ruled as monarchs in several Yoruba kingdoms, and stories of female heroes who came to the rescue their communities at the time of need abound. Subject: AFRICA CULTURE ALLOWS WOMEN TO RULE By Vimbai Gukwe Chivaura AFRICANS have been told that their culture is undemocratic. It oppresses women, as it regards them as inferior to men and excludes them from positions of power and leadership in government institutions, social organizations, business professions and the family. Africans have been, therefore, urged to abandon their culture and choose the "better and democratic" cultures of Europe and America or come up with new ones of their own making. The carriers of this gospel are usually non-governmental organizations, international human rights organizations and special groups of Africans themselves. Their funding usually comes from similar organizations in Europe, America, Australia or Britain. The venues where they meet to deliver the good news are usually hotels, conference centers, schools and also the churches. The media they use to carry the message to the public are the radio, television, newspapers, cinema, pamphlets, leaflets and posters. Their method is to repeat the message over and over again until Africans have no choice but to believe it is true. Those who may be still in doubt are simply asked to open their eyes, look all over Africa and see for themselves what the African man is doing to the African woman in the name of African culture. The trick is never to allow Africans time to go back to their history and seriously examine their culture and see whether the oppression of African women was also happening then. This would be the only way we can prove their allegations to be true or false. So, let's go back to our history and do exactly that. Women in African culture were held as supreme. They were centers of the African family and custodians of the grain. Their titles and statuses were equal to those of our Ministers of Home Affairs, Agriculture and Finance and Governors of the Reserve Bank, today. Families without mothers were regarded as orphaned families. But families without fathers could still survive with the mother as the sole breadwinner. This is still the case in African culture today. Fathers could be easily replaced, not mothers. Anyone could become your father. You only have to take your mother's word for it. Men who insult their mothers for infidelity could be insulting their own fathers. They have to go to their mothers' families to apologize and also pay heavily for it. That is why Africans say, "Never insult your mother". She is the only one who knows your identity. Identity is always both maternal and paternal in African culture. It follows the principle of gender balance. Africans follow this logic in all the affairs of their lives. They, therefore, include women as co-leaders in planning and running the affairs of the state or nation. Our first example is Nyamhita. She ruled together with her brother, Mutota. She was the queen and he was the king. But her powers were greater than Mutota's. They were both religious and political. She was, therefore, the supreme overseer of the land. The destiny of the nation lay in her hands. David Livingstone described her as supernatural. She parted the waters of the Zambezi, like Moses, and let her people pass. David Livingstone and his soldiers were left dumbfounded. Nyamhita was special in another special sense. She was a remarkable rainmaker for the nation. She ensured that the soil was fertile and the crop and harvest were good for her people. Nyamhita also shared political duties and responsibilities with her brother, Mutota. She was directly in charge of the Handa Province as Governor and became popularly known as Nehanda, which means, Governor of Handa (Mudenge 122-123) Another example was Charwe. She was Nyamhita's successor. She was directly inspired by her and also became known as Nehanda. Her powers were supreme like those of Nyamhita. They were both political and religious. The destiny of the nation lay in her hands. She understood this and took up the challenge and led the First Chimurenga. She was the de facto commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Zimbabwe. She never compromised her stance against all forms of white domination, including Christianity. She refused to be baptised into the faith of her invaders and murderers and was hanged on Wednesday April 27 1898, between 6 and 10 pm. Her last words were: "My bones shall rise again." The prophecy came true in 1965 when Zimbabweans invoked her to launch the Second Chimurenga that led to independence on April 18 1980. This was the month she prophesied the Second Chimurenga and was killed (Mazikana 196). Queen Nzinga is another illustrious African woman leader. She ruled Angola from 1622 to 1663. She was commander-in-chief of its armed forces. She shared power with her brother, Alphonso. She removed him later from power for getting involved in the slave trade and selling out the strategy of the struggle to the Portuguese. She was a brave and fearless commander and soldier. The Portuguese called her "a death-defying queen". They called Angola "a region of black terror". Their report to the king of Portugal was as follows: "Who ever heard of a woman general leading her armies in person? She is the greatest military strategist that ever confronted the armed forces of Portugal. "Her tactics keep our commanders sweating and confused. Her aim is total destruction of the slave trade. She has developed a system of infiltrating our black troops with her men. This has caused whole companies to rebel and desert to join her armies in what she calls A War of Liberation. "Portuguese casualties are always heavier than reported. She stages surprise attacks with lightning speed. She always aims first to capture guns and cannons. We now surround ourselves with armed guards on long marches, for we never know how many of our black soldiers are the queen's own men." (Ibid. 256-257). Chancellor Williams wrote the following tribute to Queen Nzinga: "In Queen Nzinga's death, Africa lost her greatest daughter and the slaves their greatest emancipator. One of the incisive and accurate indictments she made against slavery and the slave trade was that 'the real savages in Africa were whites'." Chancellor Williams adds that: "What makes Nzinga even greater was her declaration in 1624 that 'all territory over which she had control was free country. All slaves reaching it from whatever quarters were forever free'. She banned the use of black soldiers by whites and was the first and only black leader in history ever known to undertake such a task" (Ibid. 261- 265). There would be no Chaka without Nandi, his mother. She was the Queen Mother and he was the King. Her powers were supreme and greater than those of her son. They were spiritual and political like those of her Zimbabwean counterparts, Nyamhita and Charwe. The whole nation looked up to her for guidance in their struggle against European invasion. They therefore needed a strong and fearless leader to defend them and repulse the enemy. In Nandi the nation found both a kingmaker and a Queen Mother. She begot Chaka and raised and trained him to become a shrewd political and military genius the African continent has ever had. The British feared his genius and demonised him as a wizard. Chaka inherited his mother's genius and lived up to his people's expectations and included women in his army. Here is what the Portuguese said about them: "We could not have imagined that a nation we termed savages could be so disciplined and kept in order. Regiments of girls, headed by officers of their sex, entered the centre of the arena to the number of 8 000-10 000, each holding a slight staff in her hand" (Walker 108). The Great Mutapa also had a great number of women in his army and some who were his own personal guards (Jackson 186-187). The argument that African culture oppressed women and excluded them from power is, therefore, baseless. The oppression of women in Africa today is rooted in the culture of male domination and chauvinism that came with Europeans to our continent. They were all men. The institutions they set up as men, for men, are responsible for spreading that practice among our people in Africa and must be overhauled. l References: Introduction to African Civilisations by John G. THE BLACK NATIONS AND COMMUNITIES MUST REALIZE THAT THIS IS A DANGEROUS,
WELL-ARMED, NATIONALISTIC WORLD LIVING IN THE PRESENT AND NOT UNDER THE GHANDI AND M.L. KING ERA Although it is heartening to look back to the sixties and before and to take the example set by people like Ghandi and Martin Luther King, as Black people in the Americas, Africa, West Papua, South and East India, Australia, Europe and Melanesia/Indian Ocean regions, the time has com for these populations to realize that India today does not base its survival and policies on the Ghandi era. India is a strong nation with a large army and Armageddon weapons. The Indians of today are not prepared to beg, sing, clap or march for peace. As for the 300 million Blacks in the Americas and the many millions in Melanesia and West Papua, Indonesia and the region who are suffering from systems that use the utmost brutality to suppress Black aspirations of independence and self determination (in Latin Americas and S.E. Asia/Indonesia, Sudan, Mauritania, South and East India), the time has surely come to start seeing the world and those who continue to use oppressive means to keep Blacks from moving forward as opponents. New methods of approach must be used including changing tactics from one of begging for rights that are God-given and nature-bestowed, to using intelligence, strong alliances and effective means to assure that human and natural rights are not trampled anywhere. PAN-AFRICAN DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM IN SUDAN, MAURITANIA, LATIN AMERICA, WEST PAPUA, THE AMERICAS While the world waits in anticipation for Iraq and the rest of the Middle East to be made safe for democracy, the fact is in the same region, where the vast majority of people suffering are Africans and the oppressors are Semitic-leaning people who use the Semitic ideologies to oppress and commit genocide against those who do not follow their religions, there is absolutely no democracy. Hence, isn't it time that African nations establish a PAX AFRICANA (African Peace) in these nations of Negroes who think they are Arabs/Semites and carry on the work of genocide of other people? Isn't it time to remind the Africans of places like East, North-East and West Africa who are trying to be more Arab than the Arabs themselves that they are Africans, with a history, culture, religions and a CONSTITUTION that is thousands of years old? Have Africans and Blacks elsewhere including S.E. Asia and Africoid peoples in South and East India forgotten that one of the cultural traits that shows our relatedness and ancient connections is an ancient constitution where democratic traditions have always existed. Anyone who reads the Ethics of Maat, the forty-two laws listed by the ancient Egyptians would realize that long before the Ten Commandments was introduced by the Jews, Africans had many of the same and these were used as a guide to everyday living in harmony and prosperity. Yet, today instead of African/Black nations returning to their own culture and traditions, the religions, cultures, laws and customs of others are being forced on Black/African populations causing fragmentation and division. When was the last time any nation in the Middle East adopt African law, religion and traditions and discarded their own. RETURN OF THE AFRICAN CONSTITUTION It would benefit Africans and the Black world to return to its own culture, religions and constitution. The African constitution exists today and has existed for over ten thousand years. This constitution is the core of the laws, morals and master plan for ancient African/Black world development since the time of Ausar (Osirus). Instead of trying to copy the laws of the Semites, the Europeans or others, African nations should return to the ancient African Constitution ( see the African Constitution, Bill of Natural Rights, Ethics of Maat http://community.webtv.net/paulnubiaempire). It seems that the Black nations are caught in a state of confusion. Why is a nation like Sudan, the core of Black civilization and culture, a region that is to Blacks around the world what Israel is to Jews, why is Sudan another colony of the Semites? How long are Sudanese who are members of the Black African race going to realize that the white Semites of the Middle East don't care one bit about Blacks of Sudan, Somalia, South Egypt, Eretheria, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Congo, West Africa or any where else? How long are the true and pure Cushite people of Sudan who created Nubian-Cushite civilization and are the blood brothers of the original Black population of Egypt going to work to unite all the tribes and ethnicities who have always been in Nubia-Cush? The Nuba, Nubians, Dinkas and all the Cushite African peoples of Sudan must unite and return the culture of Africans back to the entire region. Blacks from Egypt to Kenya who have been fooled into the Semitic colonial sphere or who have been forced into it must take steps to return to their cultures, languages, religions and traditions. The nations of Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Eretheria and all the Black nations of North East and East Africa must realize they are Black Africans no matter how much Semitic colonial influence there is. Its obvious that the North Sudan, Northern Ethiopia, Eretheria, Somalia of today has had some Semitic infiltration, but so is parts of China, yet, China is still dominated by Chinese Culture. With a population of close to 200 milion, the Black regions of South Egypt, the nations of Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Erethria, PuntLand, Tanzania should unite and recreate the old Nubian-Cushite empire. In the West of Africa, nations like Nigeria, Chad, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso and others should work for the creation of a strong and powerful nation where the artificial borders imposed by the colonialists where misery and conflict has kept Africans poor and at war would be alleviated. The nations of Papua New Guinea, the Melanesian region, the Black South Pacific region, West Papua must unite with the aim of creating a regional Black superpower that would use its resources, skills and intellectual capacity to create a nation as great or greater than Japan. The constant oppression of Black Melanesians in West Papua must be dealt with and the fury that is brewing in the Black Americas especially the United States and Black Brazil over the constant oppression and genocide being committed in both West Papua and Sudan (Africa) will lead to a solution sooner or later. Yet, Blacks must work for the creation of strong Black states in Melanesia so that these states will be strong enough to defend themselves against the same type of Semitic-influenced racism and genocide that is taking place in South Sudan today. THE UNITY OF BLACKS IN THE AMERICAS Racist genocide against Blacks in Latin America has taken a dangerous turn. Outright genocide and ethnic cleansing has been taking place for decades with the elimination of Black street children in some parts of South America. The racist treatment, poverty, neglect and the destruction of Black culture and Black people in the conflicts occurring in parts of Latin America is a threat to the survival of Blacks. Hence, when will the Black population of nations like Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Central America, the Dominican Republic, South Mexico, Panama and the rest of Latin America realize that the time has come to totally reject the Hispanization and cultural and physical genocide being committed against the Black race in Latin America? This issue was brought forth by the Final Call about three years ago, when a meeting of all the representatives of the various communities and nations of African-descent people in the Americas from Uraguay to Canada created THE ORGANIZATION OF AFRICANS IN THE AMERICAS. The aim of this organization which works to unite about 300 million Blacks in the Americas is to work for the upliftment of Blacks throughout the Americas. BLACKS IN NORTH AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN: USING INTELLECTUAL AND ECONONOMIC POWER There is no group of Blacks in the world as influential as the Black American people. It is up to Blacks to use these areas where they have world power and strength and not allow anyone to infiltrate, steal and dilute these areas. One thinks of Black culture and conscious music, literature, movies and other areas. It is up to the Black intelligence to not sit back and watch hip-hop culture and music be trashed into pornographic lyrics being fed to us. Living in these times, Blacks must change with the times. Over the pat few years a nazi-like cadre of terroristic propaganda designed to spread hatred and continue to attack Blacks. This new anti-Americans media seems to have no loyalty to America or its people. Their only loyalty is tot the issues of the Middle East. Whoever is promoting this new cadre of neo-facists propagandists by using their limbos, yo'really's, momo chereens, edgycocks, slick willeyams, and all the former liberals (now "conservatives,") who were at the forefront of turning America into a decadent nation by hijacking the Black civil rights movement and turning it into the hippie, "free sex," "do your own thing," corruption, seem to have been able to turn the eyes of the American people from the fact that they are being hoodwinked. So, today's "peace" movement and those who continue to beg, clap and sing for rights that come from God and that no one has the right to tamper with, should know that we are living in different times. It is time to discard the old "peace at any cost" philosophy. It is time to discard the Ghandian and Martin Luther King philosophy when dealing with ruthless brutalizers of Black people who massacre, commit genocide, take Blacks lands, pass nazi-like laws, discriminate and perpetuate racism, commit ethnic cleansing and oppress Blacks. No amount of clapping and singing, marching and begging will stop the racist Semiticists North-East Africa who are ravaging and enslaving African women in Sudan, or African women in Mauritania from committing their brutality. No clapping and singing will stop brutality and attacks on Blacks in Latin America, parts of South Asia, West Papua or North America. Hence, the time has come to start applying effective strategies and alliance to put a stop to those who continue to try to force their religions and cultures on Blacks, drive Blacks off their lands, eliminate Blacks who are not of the invaders' religions, rape and ravage Black women, enslave Black men, women and Children or take the human rights of Blacks. We Blacks in the Americas must unite and we must realize that alliances have to be made with those who will work with us to stop the genocide that is being committed against Blacks. Has any Black person realized that Blacks are suffering racism in places like Iraq, Egypt, Indonesia, Sudan and Syria (where Black refugees from Sudan are not welcome). Blacks in the Americas must unite, build strength, create a strong economic and cultural system, preserve the African culture that we brought from Africa and work to Africanize and apply the positive ness of Black nationalism, equal rights and justice around the world. We simply cannot say "peace, peace," we must have equal rights, justice and freedom from all those who oppress Blacks, (please read the book, "A History of Racism and Terrorism, Rebellion and Overcoming," published by www.xlibris.com also read "Susu Economics: The History of Pan-African Trade, Commerce, Money and Wealth," pub. by 1stbooks Library, 2595 Vernal Pike, Bloomington, Indiana 47404 U.S.A. www.1stbooks.com also at www.barnesandnoble.com Nubianem2@webtv.net paulnubiaempire@webtv.net Black Nubian Empire S. Justices Grill Affirmative Action Lawyers
WASHINGTON, April 1, 2003 (CBS) Supreme Court justices, confronting affirmative action for the first time since outlawing quotas 25 years ago, debated Tuesday whether colleges and universities may legally consider race when admitting students. Hearing oral arguments on admissions policies at the University of Michigan and its law school, the justices aggressively questioned lawyers for plaintiffs and the school. The Bush administration's top lawyer, also took part, arguing that the university's law school program "is a thinly disguised quota." But Solicitor General Theodore Olson stopped short of declaring that race could never be part of admissions policies. The arguments took place in the ornate courtroom as a crowd of 5,000 to 7,000 mostly pro-affirmative action demonstrators carried placards and shouted slogans outside. _____________________________ Carter G. Woodson described those dependent upon Affirmative Action to display some false sense of equality as being parasites, and I strongly agree. "If we can finally succeed in translating the idea of leadership into that of service, we may soon find it possible to lift the Negro to a higher level. Under leadership we have come into the ghetto; by service within the ranks we may work our way out of it. Under leadership we have been constrained to do the bidding of others; by service we may work out a program in the light of our own circumstances. Under leadership we have become poverty-stricken; by service we may teach the masses how to earn a living honestly. Under leadership we have been made to despise our own possibilities and to develop into [Affirmative Action] parasites; by service we may prove sufficient unto the task of self-development and contribute our part to modern culture."
Pages 118-119, "The Mis-Education of The Negro," Carter G. Woodson REVELATION 6:9-11 "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held [such as Carter G. Woodson and Marcus Garvey].""And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" "And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." In his rally cry "Up, Up You Mighty Race," Marcus Garvey declared that there is no greater tribute that we could pay to our Creator than to function as Man [Man created in the image of God]. My dearly beloved Africa brothers and sisters, look deep within yourselves and you will find a real man or woman just waiting there to prove that you are sufficient to the task of self-development and to contributing your share to humanity and modern civilization—without being Affirmative Action parasites, as your Black American leaders would have you to be for their own selfish gain. Don't let Taiwan fight SARS alone!
Dear friends, This is an urgent and earnest request for your help. It is not a political campaign, but a humble humanistic appeal. "Please help Taiwan to join the WHO and fight SARS." For more than half a century, the WHO (World Health Organization) has upheld its constitution on health as "one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, political belief, economic or social condition." But for thirty years, Taiwan has been excluded from the WHO because of the political interference from China. China declares that it owns Taiwan as one of its provinces and that it has taken care of the health of Taiwanese very well. It is a big lie since China has never been here in Taiwan in any ways and we have lived in our own free and democratic system for many decades. "Yesterday, Taiwan was rejected as an observer (not even a member) again by the WHO." Taiwan is fighting SARS alone now without effective supports from WHO and expecting their help so much. We believe that health should be the issue transcending politics. So please help us to say ˇ "Yes to Taiwan to join the WHO" and have them help Taiwan to fight SARS. You will be extremely appreciated by all the Taiwanese if you would express your concerns and regrets on this issue to the WHO (http://www.who.int/suggestions/en/), members of your Congress or Parliament, media and presses, medical groups and associations, and even government officials. My deal friend, Taiwanese are looking forward to having your supports and thank you for your kindness and understanding. Sincerely yours, Sara Chow & Paul Lee/ ZMI Electronics Ltd. |

Omo Oba:
Africans that have totally bought into colonial brainwashing as packaged in our education and neo-colonial evangelical, Christian fundamentalist upbringing do not wish to hear what you wrote below. Sometimes I wonder: "Are Africans really this DUMB, to buy so much into the mentality and culture of other races so totally to the point of completely disrespecting their own, and believing we had no culture before the advent of the Arabs (Islam) and the Europeans (Christianity), and that truly, we were mere primitives and barbarians?" An Apology for Slavery To Mend Race
Relations
Apologize for Slavery? Without an Apology, Blacks and Whites Will Never Get Along. An Opinion From Naomi Wolf for George Magazine We build memorials to what we want to remember, but a glance at our public monuments also shows just what we want to forget. Just off the Mall in Washington, D.C., there's a vast museum devoted to a holocaust that took place in Europe; near the Potomac, there's a beloved memorial to a slaughter that unfolded in Southeast Asia. But you'd have to look long and hard over the American landscape to find any prominent recognition of our own homegrown holocaust-of the 250 years during which up to one American in five was held, scourged, and bred as chattel. America has a willful amnesia about its slave past. Daily life in Colonial Williamsburg has been painstakingly re-created for the sake of tourists. In the West, towns re-enact the days of the gold rush. But at the sites of the notorious slave markets---where thousands of African families were dispersed while sustaining the economies that supported white families---there is little or no commemoration. Ellis Island's makeover is a gleaming piece of historical preservation; but in Auburn, New York, the house of Harriet Tubman, which was a famous station on the Underground Railroad, now lies in disrepair, its preservation left to the amateur efforts of local citizens who raise funds to maintain it. The slave quarters at Mount Vernon carefully explain the production of horseshoes and tallow: Tools are displayed, but not whips or shackles. No multimedia archives bother to chronicle the histories of, and relationships between, the enslaved Americans who served the father of our country. Little attention is paid to the bitter irony that while George Washington allowed his slaves to wed, the state of Virginia refused to legally recognize those unions. White America wants to forget. Two decades ago, the miniseries Roots was a major pop culture event because it gave names and faces to historical shadows, but its theme was palatable to whites only because it led, ultimately, to assimilation and redemption. In contrast, Steven Spielberg's recent Amistad---a straightforward and unsettling account of the subjection of Africans in the slave trade-sank like a stone. Plenty of whites would say that memorializing our slave past is worse than unimportant, that it is destructive to the present. Controversy attended efforts to obtain congressional funding for a museum of slavery on the Mall. Southern struggles over the Confederate flag are routine and bitter. Whites' reactions to blacks' insistence on memorializing slavery are strong: "I didn't own any slaves. Why should I apologize?" as one recent caller to a talk-radio station characteristically argued. When congressman Tony P. Hall, a white Democrat from Ohio, raised the subject of an apology for slavery as a "step toward healing," he was deluged with criticism. President Clinton typically waffled on this issue when, last August, he chose to leave the decision on whether to apologize for slavery up to his race advisory board. Eight months later, inching toward a more complete gesture, he sort of apologized for the slave trade-in Africa, to the descendants of Africans who were left behind by it; not in America to the descendants of those who were captured and bred in captivity. "The United States has not always done the right thing by Africa," he said with a truly farcical note of understatement. "Going back to the time before we were even a nation, European Americans received the fruits of the slave trade and we were wrong in that." Why does an apology matter? Why is memorializing our slave past important for the present? These things matter because without them, both sides remain stuck. The mass denial of slavery by the dominant culture creates what denial creates in any dysfunctional family: inflamed articulation of the denied truth by the injured party. The more one family member silences, the more the other symbolically over emotes. When a black man was recently dragged to his death by three whites in Jasper, Texas, whites quoted in news coverage swore that the savage murder was an isolated event, as if they were unconscious of the history of lynching in towns just like theirs. In reaction to such denial, the African-Americans quoted were inclined toward conspiracy theories. "At this point," one woman reportedly said, "I'll believe anything." How would proper memorials of slavery heal this stalemate? Memorials reflect the depth of our caring. As a Jew, I know rage wells within me toward contemporary Germans when I see a cheap tin marker over a subway entrance in the heart of Berlin commemorating a roundup of local Jews. The slightness of the marker undermines my trust in my German peers---even though the historic tragedy is now distant from us. Apologies between groups matter for the same reason they matter between individuals in intimate relationships: They help keep the relationship healthy. The recent wave of international apologies speaks to the power of this fact. Why should we care whether Switzerland returns what are often insignificant amounts of money to Jews? Not because of the money but because of the lingering denial. Why did the pope's semi-apology for the Catholic Church's collusion with Nazism reinforce Jewish distrust of Catholicism? Precisely because of its tone of self-exoneration. In contrast, France's unstinting apology for its collusion with the Vichy government and Australia's wholehearted Sorry Day, in which the entire continent expresses regret for separating Aboriginal children from their parents, will both go a long way toward genuine healing-the kind we in this country should note with envy. Finally, particularly where children are concerned, apologies reflect the value assigned to a given relationship. Without an apology from whites for the centuries during which black children were bought and sold, black kids grow up wondering if the dominant culture will ever value them enough for their efforts within the system to really work. The fact is, conspiracies against black Americans have been real. Slavery itself was a conspiracy. So were the post- Reconstruction years, when whites banded together to cheat blacks out of fair prices for their cotton and white police forces conspired to frame black defendants. Without an apology that acknowledges this reality, black off-the-wall conspiracy theorizing will continue to assert itself. Hence, for example, the widespread beliefs that the CIA invented AIDS and that the LAPD framed O.J. An apology in this case is not an _expression of personal guilt. It is an _expression of regret, of shared sorrow. Popular spiritualist Marianne Williamson, who is often mocked for saying things America isn't ready to hear, conducts an experiment with her audiences: She has white people stand and apologize to blacks in the audience for racism and the harm it has inflicted upon their families and children. I watched this once, squirming with discomfort; I was sure it would be offensive, a sham, superficial, insulting, phony-all the things we fear when the issue of an apology comes up. To my astonishment, after the apology the mood in the room changed in a way I have never before felt in America: There was an almost tangible lightening of tension for both the blacks and the whites. It was a mood in which one could actually move on. As one old black woman said, with tears running down her cheeks, "I've been waiting my whole life to hear a white man say that to me." In a bad marriage, every little friction symbolizes the larger sense of being held in contempt or feeling betrayed. That's where we are now. In a good marriage, a fight, no matter how bad it gets, is just a fight. That's where an apology can take us. So in the interest of starting with what I can, I want to say, for the record, about this great harm: I am so sorry. ·...><((((ş> , ·...><((((ş>·.·.><((((ş>·...><((((ş> , ·...><((((ş>· The kind of ancestors we have is not as important as the kind of descendants our ancestors have. -~~Phyllis A. Hip-Hop Lynching
The thousands of young black men dying each year on the streets are this century's strange fruit, fallen to the ground. This time, the blood is on our hands. By Hakim Hasan During my annual trip to Atlanta last year to spend Thanksgiving with my mother and siblings, I went to see the Without Sanctuary: Lynching Photography in America exhibition at The Visitor's Center at the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Site. The gruesome photographs and postcards on view (yes, the bastards even made postcards of their macabre acts) depicted the mutilated remains of black men, boys and women as well as white men. Lynching was ritualistic public square violence, part of a sordid history of white criminality. In "Hellhounds" an essay published in the exhibit's commemorative volume, Without Sanctuary, historian Leon F. Litwack writes that "Between 1882 and 1968 an estimated 4,742 blacks met their deaths at the hands of lynch mobs." As I studied the photograph of a black man burned beyond recognition, I wondered: What would be the response if this were a photographic exhibition of black-on-black homicide victims from Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis, Newark and New York? According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, from 1976 to 2000, 94 percent of black homicide victims in America were killed by other blacks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cite homicide as the leading cause of death for black males between the ages of 15 and 34, with 4,412 such victims in 2000 alone. The number of blacks murdered by other blacks since Reconstruction far exceeds those lynched by whites. But given our muted response to this travesty, I have to conclude that black life, especially poor black life, only matters when placed in context with white folks. We've seen this play out time and again. When a white person or police officer kills a black person or violates his or her civil rights, revolutionary Negroes can be counted upon to hit the streets like clockwork, defiantly waving their preprinted "No Justice, No Peace" placards. Suited-down civil rights leaders will hold a press conference and declare from a prepared statement, "There is a resurgence of racist violence against blacks." There is an unspoken legacy and rule of racial etiquette at work here: the value of black life depends on what white folks do to us. This is why a photographic exhibition of black-on-black crime victims will never exist, even though the net effect of widespread black-on-black crime is far more insidious than the lynching of a brother ever was. The prevalence of crime and homicide in poor black communities is a barrier to housing development, business formation, good educational systems and home ownership. At least if white folks start moving into my neighborhood, eventually (for starters) I'll be able to buy a copy of Savoy without having to leave the area to find a decent bookstore. Let's be clear. I'm no self-hating right-wing conservative; I'm a liberal contrarian. I am the director of an urban institute at a small college in New York City. I live in a poor black neighborhood in Jersey City, N.J. And I'm writing a memoir tentatively titled Keep That Nigger Boy Running. But I never expected to be running from my own. In March, two black undercover New York City detectives were shot in the head and killed during a buy-and-bust operation aimed at removing illegal guns from the community. Their bodies were dumped on the street. Three of the four suspects arrested were young black males. Despite my distrust of the police, this tragedy hurt me to my heart. It was proof of a deeper danger and confirmed my real fear. Ordinary working-class blacks now face and fear misguided, vicious and unapologetic black male criminals who are carrying the torch from the lynch mobs of old, dispensing their brand of vigilante justice to anyone who dares cross the rules of the street. `Under these circumstances-since poor black neighborhoods are bereft of informal social controls-who is responsible for maintaining safety and order if it is not these very police officers that were murdered? Blacks who have well-paying jobs can leave crime-ridden neighborhoods. Those who cannot have to create strategic coalitions with law enforcement officials. They have no other choice. The time has come for black leadership to recognize black criminality and its underlying consequences as a major public health hazard. To do nothing is akin to being part of the crowds that gathered to ogle the lifeless bodies of young men who swung in the trees. And while they stare in disbelief, horror or worse yet, contempt, law-abiding blacks will continue to walk past other blacks in poor black communities with that suspicious "Damn-are-you-gonna-try-and-hurt-me?" look in their eyes. Or maybe black criminals can start wearing white hoods. Perhaps then black leadership will address black-on-black crime. Support Free Speech and the God given right to Free Expression. Beloved:
Why in the world of hypocrites, it is inappropriate for a white person to speak what most White People are thinking ? What is so injurious about being Truthful, about speaking one mind about Black People and a lot of time, it does not be their prejudice ignorance speaking, but it be the truth of the matter. I rather the devil reveal himself to me than to disguise himself, causing me to think the opposite about him than what he really is. Diplomacy for the sake of hypocrisy in the face of honesty in regard to Race, is a vice and yet most Blacks prefer the vice instead of the honesty. How can one protect himself from an enemy by thinking the enemy is a friend ? An enemy has an established a past pattern of behavior toward whom is considered to be a foe and is considered undeserving of respect and honor and such a qualification, meet the behavior of white people toward Black People, regardless of how much we wish and pretend other wise. Of course there are exceptions to every rule and it is obvious those who meet the exception rule is excluded, but then I have no interest in categorizing White People, they must reveal themselves by their action, proving worthy of being treated under the exception rule by Black People, but must always know that they are under suspicion and close observation constantly. I thank the gods of our Ancient Black African Ancestors for our Enslaved Ancestors, because they have left a badge that accurately measure the hypocrisy and evil prejudice / Racism of White Folks and that badge is Reparation / Repatriation. Such a badge and white folks attitude toward it, is a clear indication of what White Folks think or shall I say do not think of Black Folks, It reveal their true nature and feeling toward Black people, by the way they express their thoughts and feelings toward Reparation / Repatriation. Now the sad part about it is, there are some ignorant Black Folks who might have two or three nickels over their budget of living comfortable, physically and who take pride in imitating white folks behavioral attitude toward Reparation / Repatriation, not realizing, to be against Reparation / Repatriation is a display of their pleasure of being submissive servants to White People, as they mimic White People in their artificial role of success. What the Kerner report said in the early seventies is true today and that is, america and I will go a step further by saying the white world, is a prejudice Racist world, controlled by Racist White People and in america, there are two societies, one White And one Black and unequal and yet Black Folks squat in glee for being in such a condition in america, not realizing that such is a self degrading position, it reveal the expression from Black Folks of Self Hatred and is a lover of the devil, the White Evil that has plague the Black Nation, from the Time they Discovered Us living in complete splendor and Harmony with God, Universe and Self, what a pity and a shame the Black Mind express toward self as oppose toward the evil that cause Black oppression and servitude to those whose devilish acts are consistent and constantly displayed toward the Black Nation. I condemn not this New Zealand White Devil, he only revealed what most White Folks think of the Black African Nation and for that I can beware of him, with caution in a war stance. Like I said as like I continue to say, just a caution, be very careful with the new angels of mercy who are very concerned on the AIDS epidemic in Africa. Yes those who come in our midst and tell us how much they care for Zimbabwe is loosing 50,000 people a day due to AIDS. Now to those in Toronto that roughly means that Zimbabwe is loosing a population of the entire Pickering suburb a day. That is crap and you and I know it. Is AIDS a problem today in Africa? Absolutely. Do we need to fight it and I say without a debate. But there is so much fuzzy between us and the true picture of the effect of AIDS to Africa that we just do not know the actual facts. And these numbers are just to use our people to the betterment of the involved party/s. And remember too that money is and will always be a barrier into finding cures of these diseases. As my professor whispered in my ear last week "Edward do you think there can ever be a mad Doctor announcing that he has a cure of Cancer? Where will his next pay check come from?" As I was contemplating about that statement, I remembered how shrewd Museveni of Uganda is, for he picked up the AIDS issue and he is today known as the best healer of AIDS. So we have 4 million people in very terrible camps for 20 years, we have TB killing people left right and centre, we have people dying of simple curable diseases like Malaria, but Uganda is a model for AIDS is wiped out. Are we that naive? Be well as AIDS is decimating the entire population of Africa. IN fact the first nation to be obliterated will be Zimbabwe for they are dying in millions per day. Em Toronto ================================================ Aids data: Most of it is lies, damned lies and statistics HIV/Aids has truly impacted on the lives of each one of us in one way or another and the fight must be won. Up-to-date facts and figures are a prerequisite in any effective communication on most subjects, and HIV/Aids is no exception. Seven hundred Kenyans dying every day, three in five minutes, prevalence rates, and rates of incidence are common terms to us. Such data is bandied around with such adroitness and vigour that sometimes it is as if we are fighting a series of mathematical algorithms rather than an actual virus. Whilst there is value in using numbers to describe phenomena, it is essential that when we do so, we understand exactly what these figures represent. It was former British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli who once said: "There are three types of lies: Lies, damned lies and statistics". This could not be truer for some of the so-called "facts" hurled at us by reputable experts and international agencies in the build-up to World Aids Day. In the Sunday Nation of November 30, Arthur Okwemba quoted the Executive Director of an Aids support group from Uganda claiming that there has been a fall in HIV prevalence in Uganda "from more than 30 per cent in 1995 to nearly 5 per cent today". This translated in real terms, means that of the 23 million inhabitants of Uganda, almost seven million were HIV positive in 1995 and eight years later, the figure stands at slightly more than one million. This means that there are six million less HIV positive Ugandans today than in 1995. If you factor in the Ugandans who acquired the virus after 1995, this leaves a simply enormous body of people who are no longer HIV positive. What has happened to the Ugandans who do not appear in the latest figures? Did they leave Uganda, die or were they cured of HIV? If the prevalence figures are inverted, it does not say much for Uganda's widely commended HIV/Aids response if it is unable to prevent the deaths of 800,000 HIV positive people a year. In Kenya, it has been stated that HIV/Aids had, by 1998, reduced life expectancy by 13 years to only 51. Taking HIV prevalence in Kenya of 12 per cent and applying a simple weighted average, it is easily proved that this assertion is a mathematical impossibility. In fact, for such a drop in life expectancy to be caused by HIV alone, HIV positive Kenyans would have to have a life expectancy of minus 44 years. That is, they would have been dead a whole two generations before they were born! We cannot be so foolish as to use baseless and incongruous statistics in our arguments. Even the great UN, in its much quoted Aids Epidemic Update released recently, makes statements that, on closer inspection, are questionable. It is simply not good enough to use tests on pregnant women taken in antenatal clinics as the main source for raw data used to estimate national prevalence in the way the UNAids study has. People tested in antenatal clinics are, by the very fact they are women who have had unprotected sex, a high-risk group. The argument presented in the Epidemic Update in justifying the assumptions made by the UN in producing their estimates using this method is both weak and flawed. What is needed is a wide reaching and aggressive campaign to derive comprehensive and accurate figures on the scourge that will allow us to plan our response based on knowledge and not conjecture. You know my dear hearts, it never cease to amaze me as to how Black folks have been condition to think and view the world, with us not being a part of it but just in it. I will continue to remind the Black World as well as the World at large, about the uniqueness of the Black African in the Diaspora, against their will, in other word, having not had a choice in the matter and now stand to represent the Salvation for African people. Now that is not make believe, nor does it take intellectual discussion or philosophizing or opinions, nor is it up for debate, because the truth does not need to be debated, nor is it looking for a friend, for it is unrelenting in the presence adversity of all sorts and that my dear beloved, should be the leader of Black action, the Truth that is. Yes,Yes, the leader of Black Folks should be the Truth and the Truth is, Black Folks have been taken out of the circle where only original Thought and clear knowledge of our past, hold the solution to the Black African problem and such are the main attributes of Truth. We sit and we throw our little so call westernized education around as if we are some privileged member of what some call the talented tenth and it is such talent that highlight what qualify us as a fool, which such talented one's have become, as we flaunt the devil educational deceit around and about, as we express with glee what is taught to us about the Black African Nation by our oppressors. It is the position we Black Folks take on world events, be they Social, Educational, Political, Religious And Economic, that determine our mental status, based on our opinion and so call flawed education,Religion and Scio - economic Political View, which keep us in a caste, away from the Truth. It is the position and behavior we Black Folks take and express in those regard as they apply and effect Blacks in america, other part of the Diaspora, Africa and the world in general that make us look and act like fools, ignorant of the Truth about ourselves. Such tactics become our death, if Truth is not the underlining objective in order to qualify their meaning and effective affect upon the Black African Life. There is no various and diverse position to take on the Truth, the Truth does not give a Damn about what we believe and opinions we form about it, the Truth is about scrutiny, it stand within the solitary confinement of that Divine presence we all refer to as God. So when we go about trying to justify, clarify and or rationalize the action of a people who have demonstrated their disdain for us, then yes we put ourselves in a position to be called everything but Children of Truth - God. This Fight for African Liberation and accountability is not about Black Folks per-se, it is about Truth and out of Truth must come Justice and for anybody to try to minimize the effect of Mental and physical oppression, which Black Folks now suffer from, because of the acts of injustice imposed upon us by other people who are not of our Identity and now their behavior has caught on to become an infectious disease among some Black Folks. Yet and still, there are some among us who now live in a state of acceptable denial concerning such matters, as we grant the wishes of those Devils who have committed such atrocities upon such an innocent Nation of people. Some members of that Nation, the Black Nation,in shambles that it is, do in fact, need to be described as being the scourge of the Race. Black leadership ? The only leadership Black Folks need, is the Truth !!! The Truth is, Black Folks will not be able to dance with the Truth until we master the knowledge of our Past and that past go back to the beginning of our coming upon this EARTH PLANET and not to be able to know such a Story about our Black Selves, will keep us out of that circle of Truth, causing us to continue to be students of those who have conned and miseducated us about ourselves, thus, causing us to have no Leader to call our own, which is Truth. By us being such a victim, will cause us to prance around, holding this lying devil degrees and diplomas up with proud, not knowing that they are the symbol of lies and deceit and it is on such a foundation we go out to debate with each other the events of the world as they affect the Black Africans People. On such a foundation of Lies, do we set out to become emotional involved with the affairs of america and her deceitful allies, taking on such issues of Saddam and his Iraq, Jews and Arabs, an attitude toward america foreign policy relations with her allies, Russia, France and Germany as she strut her behavior toward that institution, whom she has no true respect for,The United Nation and yet we get all emotional with each other, even to the fighting death, concerning these matters. Yet we can not muster up such passion and emotional commitment about our own affairs, those events that have a death effect upon the Black African Life. Yes leadership, Black leadership, there is none, because Black Folks Eschew Truth and Embrace Lies and that tell the story about the Black condition in the world, as we have been conditioned to fanaticize about our Black Life condition. Therefore, what is required of us to change it, we think not, rather than embrace Truth and Reality, which tell us what is required of us to know and understand what our obligation is to ourselves, in order to acknowledge and transform our Black Life, back to recognizing the Truth and living it again, we rather live in a state of control denial. Yes there are Negroes who still can not look white folks in the eye, scratch when we do not itch, can not keep our feet still in the presence of white folks, think not for self but as told by the white man, laugh at white jokes when there is nothing funny, always defending the action of our oppressors and yet we get offended when we describe what we see and know to be a traitorous incompetent Negro, as being an Uncle Tom, such description is very mild in contrast to such behaviors being acted out by some Black Folks. So the question is, what will become the motivation of our action, putting us in harmony with such a brave and unrelenting leadership, I vote for nothing but the Truth. Hope this helps someone you know!! Pass this scholarship information on to anyone and everyone that comes to mind. I was heartbroken to find that, though there are a number of companies and organizations that have donated monies for scholarship use to African American's, a great deal of the money is being returned because of a lack > of interest. AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS ARE NOT APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS! PARENTS, HEADS UP! No one is going to knock on our doors and ask if we can use a scholarship. Take the initiative to get your children involved. There s no need for money to be returned to donating companies because we fail to apply for it. 51) BELL LABS FELLOWSHIPS FOR UNDER REPRESENTED MINORITIES http://www.bell-labs.com/fellowships/CRFP/info.html 52) Student Inventors Scholarships http://www.invent.org/collegiate/ 53) Student Video Scholarships http://www.christophers.org/vidcon2k.html 54) Coca-Cola Two Year College Scholarships http://www.coca-colascholars.org/programs.html 55) Holocaust Remembrance Scholarships http://holocaust.hklaw.com/ 56) Ayn Rand Essay Scholarships http://www.aynrand.org/contests/ 57) Brand Essay Competition http://www.instituteforbrandleadership.org/IBLEssayContest-2002Rules.html 58) Gates Millennlum Scholarships (major) http://www.gmsp.org/nominationmaterials/read.dbm?ID=12 59) Xerox Scholarships for Students http://www2.xerox.com/go/xrx/about_xerox/about_xerox_detail.jsp? 60) Sports Scholarships and Internships http://www.ncaa.org/about/scholarships.html 61) National Assoc. of Black Journalists Scholarships (NABJ) http://www.nabj.org/html/studentsvcs.html 62) Saul T. "THE
PASSION OF THE CHRIST" THE MOVIE
Greetings my
friend:
Israel is a wake up call to me and my whole crew and family... to see CHILDREN (8 years old and up) walking around with hand guns, learning to use sub-automatic machine guns, -AND- how to make, plant and/or detonate land mines and bombs is outrageous to me and a very sad state of affairs of the day, age, time and world that we live and have all helped to create and perpetuate We, on the other hand, live in a society, where at eight years old, we're learning how to play hide-n-go-seek, ride a bike and maybe how to make our own peanut butter and jelly sandwich, along with some Kool-Aid... And these children are born into a terrorist state and know much nothing else in their everyday lives... this is awful. I don't feel anything "HOLY" over here at all. The only "holiness" I feel is what me and my family brought with us when we arrived here. These people are so hell bent on "RELIGION", that they've long since forgotten about the pure Spirit of a loving God a looooooooong time ago. We actually saw "THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST" over here, which was kind of surreal... the natives here HATED the fact, as we did, that Christ was depicted (once again) as a white man and more than a few of us were miffed that Satan was depicted as a woman (complete with serpents coming from between her legs & loins). We all would have appreciated it more "IF" Mel Gibson kept his word to tell the story "straight from the Gospel" (as he said he would and did), for if that were true, then Christ would have had skin like copper and hair like sheeps wool (or in other words... BLACK). Okay, they gave him brown eyes, instead of blue this time... but he still looked like a member of The Beatles or Aerosmith. Give me a break, puhleeze... already!? Even over here... all of the "true Jews" and native Israelites are black people, and the other Armanian/European Jews are only of the lighter hew, and came along a long time AFTER the dynasty of the original dark hued Jews and Moors of this sacred land. When I mentioned the fact that as the filmmaker Mel Gibson could have perhaps made Christ White BEFORE the resurrection, but then let him wake up and walk out of that cave, a black man, AFTER the resurrection; a group of Hebrew scholars and prominent Israelites stood up and applauded me. This would have at least shown great sensitivity, promise and balance. Oh well, I then shut my mouth as to not set off an international incident and have you all seeing my black ass on CNN later on this weekend. But that's asking far too much of this white male dominated society, including the white man, who wrote, produced and directed it. I guess... A movie like this won't be shown until Oprah, Bob Johnson or one of our own produce and show it. To Mel Gibson's credit however, I do understand why he did this movie, because of the personal miracles that Christ performed in his life, saving his health, his life and looks from a severe beating that left him literally faceless back when we was still a teenager back in Australia (where he left deformed & doomed for dead on the side of a road after being attacked by a gang of young punks who robbed and beat him to the point that they called the morgue truck to transport him... where he awoke). Mel's story is amazing, and when you read it... you'll see for yourself why this man worth already a cool half a billion dollars decided to do this very personal movie from his own heart and with his own money. God bless him! If I can find his story, I'll send it out to you guys to peruse for yourself. However, there were NO black women in this movie at all whatsoever, and the only black men shown were in King Herod's court as his male concubines & boy toys. And although the man who helped Christ carry the cross looked like a black man in features and hair texture, he was, by far, the lightest/brightest strand of black man ever cast in a motion picture. This guy was so light, he made El Debarge look as dark as Wesley Snipes. Even with all of that having been said, it still didn't get in the way of the fact that me and my family recognize Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior and are forever grateful for the ultimate sacrifice he has made for all of us. So the distorted message did NOT interfere with our reception of The Messenger and the amazingly PERFECT LIFE/DEATH and RE-BIRTH he lived and exemplified. In closing, all I can say is although America may NOT be perfect, it is "THE BEST THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER" that's for damn sure... GOD BLESS AMERICA.... Lord have mercy and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! God(dess) with you always, Eric
The Bible,
King James Version, which many refer to as the word of God, has
several chapters that refer to the color of Jesus. In Daniel (Old Testament) 7:9 says, "and the hair of his head like the pure wool." Revelation (New Testament) 1:15 reveals "his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace." Additional references one can turn to are: Ezekiel 1:27 and 8:2. Hoteph My
Beloved Sisters And Brothers:
Well beloved it is sad that we as Black AfroDescendants in the Diaspora U.S.A. has to make choices about our freedom, Justice and Hue - Man Rights and so far, it seem as if america win hands down over freedom, when it come to the choices of the oppressed AfroDescendants in america. It is a well known fact that the AfroDescendant in america rather not deal rationally with the Truth when it is about our condition in america, regardless of our miss - educated status, taken to be well quality education, to the point we have become drunken and blind to the Truth concerning our status in america. The sad part about it is, we get all up in arm, ( ready to fight ) when some among us have been able to cross that lying line of deception and self neglect but those of us who choose not to cross the line, choose to just get along in a society that has been proven to be Racist to the core against the AfroDescendants in america and the Black African Nation in general, such prevent us from being able to shake hand with Truth. We have yet to be able to disagree with honor and humility. We are not willing to reason out our differences, just irrational emotion debate them, striving to see who can insult the other the best, with the best being the worst, such a game, reflect the height and level of our ignorance and not intelligence. Well beloved here is my point. It is a fact, as we stand or sit in america, whatever position make us comfortable in our oppressive state, the AfroDescendant in america is not free, yes we carry no authority nor do we have control over what happen in and to our life, such is our reality in america. We AfroDescendants have been so conditioned to accept what is made available to us by our oppressors and be satisfied with it. We have learned to cherish civil rights over Hue - Man Rights, Advancement over completion and privileges over Acceptability, injustice over Justice, thus oppression over Freedom, this is our america to the AfroDescendants, children of parents treated as Chattel in an institution created by america call Slavery, yet we choose to love it rather than leave it and with no sign of Freedom, Justice and Independence for the children of our Enslaved African Ancestors. What a pity and a shame regarding the mentality of the AfroDescendant in america !!! There are cries that go out about us needing to concentrate on up-lifting our communities and we need to concentrate on building a sound economic base in our community, as our children become more miss -educated, drugged out, profiled for arrest, imprisoned, and shot at will, such is not a community thing nor a economic thing but is an environment thing, with no power to change it in america. What we refuse to look at is, this type of treatment did not just start yesterday, this has been an on going thing against the AfroDescendant for approximate Five Hundred Years in america. will we ever get tired of being treated as a child in america?. The community thing sound good but the reality is, the environment we find ourselves in here in america, will not allow such efforts to rise to the level we dream about for ourselves. Now there is nothing wrong with the dream, the setting is just wrong and will not accommodate such dream desire, plus such quality of life is not to be dreamed about but should always be. There is no democracy in america and america is not a republic, it is a business, a corporation owned by Racist stock holders, something the dreamers among us do not and will not accept, be us well miss - educated in the guise of educated or steeped in our ignorance, gleefully, as Truth remain immutable. We AfroDescendants wrestle over making choices between two evils in america politics, the democratic and republican party, trying to decide who hold the better bag of crumbs for us AfroDescendants, yet we become halted betwixed two opinion when it come to where we should stand or even stand at all on the issue of Reparation, as if that make us look or sound intelligent. What a sad people we have become, as we joyfully accept our role in america captivity, pretending to be happy and satisfied, such a mentality assure our stay in mental bondage, all because we choose america over Freedom for the AfroDescendant in america and as we go,so go the Carbon Nation, yet we desire to go no where by remaining in america. When we question the merit of Reparation, in our effort to sound reasonable and intelligent, we insult and disrespect our Enslaved African Ancestors and it also show that we do not fully understand the dynamics of Reparation and the sacredness of it. If we selfishly approach the issue of Reparation in our pursuit and fight for it, we take away its aurora and power, making it out to be just another civil right request which will assure our defeat. A sound mind and a strong body does not request Justice, Freedom and Independence, such is demanded, because such qualities come with the gift of Life and if we do not enjoy such, it mean it has been taken away from us and if need be must be taken back, such is the thinking of a well learned AfroDescendant. The Forces of the Universe has brought such a Time around again, which fit the favor of the AfroDescendant and now present the freedom of choice to us, concerning our condition in america. With Reparation on the Horizon, we now have the choice to choose Freedom or america, only a fool will error in choosing that which is best for the Carbon Nation. Catch
22
Let's tell the truth about Superman
As a black
American Male my ego would love to tell you that
I am the man! I would love to tell you
that I run my family; that my children and wife
look up to me as the provider, the analyst, the
builder and as their key predictor of the
future. A future that is designed for those who
can predict long range changes in economic
direction not just on a national but rather on
an international level. As we all know, our
futures in this America, depends on us being
able to divine changes in order to plan security
and liquidity
I would
love to tell you that my entire family looks up
to me as the "superhero". What male does not
want to be the hero? Those born in the sixties
will remember how we all would run from school
to watch and then model our childhood hero's
- The Little Rascals, Batman and yes, Superman!
Which one
of us hasn't tied our mother's best sheet to our
backs and "flown" through her house? Make way
for Superman... Wonder woman! Remember the
vibe? Remember the feeling of power, freedom
and importance we had?
I would
love to tell you that I am Superman!
Would that not be nice? Superman! The "man of
steel"! The man who everyone calls when there is
trouble to solve all of our problems! "Up up and
away!"
The harsh
truth my friends is that I am no Superman. None
of us actually are are we? But, did that stop us
from playing pretend? Did that stop us from
dreaming of being the best that we could be?
"Faster than a speeding bullet - More powerful
than a locomotive!" As our mothers back-handed
us the second she saw her beautifully pressed
sheet covered in scuff marks placed there by the
the heals of Superman's well worn Converse
sneakers!
Blang!
Bling! Boom! Ya ass is grass buddy! Momma got da
leach on ya!
Brainwashing and the erasure of the Black
Superman
The
concept that I want to pass to you is very
simple. In order to understand it, we must
dip back into history. Now I know that many of
us do not want to think about the past: Shoot EV " yesterday's gone",
right?
Well....
The truth is No...!
In order
to be able to maintain a slave system, the
people who created it had to devise a system of
control in which those slaves who where most
capable to lead a revolt or plan a
revolt against them where kept in check. Aka -
prevented from gaining control of the groups of
blacks within their sphere of influence.
What was done?
Simple! --
The slave owners scared the livin hell out of
everybody, especially the Black women. The
threat to our
people
was, " if you give us trouble, we will take you
momma and your children and we will divide you.
We already got rid of " your babies daddy so go
head ... mess with us! "
Heavy
artillery eh??? The whites figured that if they
played with the strong, Black female, maternal
instinct to protect her young, they would be
able to control the Black slaves and of course
it worked!
Imagine: I am the "Man"! The man who
owns your Black behind!
I tell you
- " If any of the uppity niggahs like EV starts
talking about breaking out of this plantation,
you will tell me and I will reward you well."
Yeah momma! Just make sure to let me know, ya
hear, and I will allow you to keep your kids.
All the uppity, smart ass Niggahs involved will
be whipped and then I will sell off their
children. I am the man! Your African warrior
ain't shit! Yeah you heard me!
Momma what
would you do when your new baby - daddy came in
beaming bout having a plan? How would you feel
when he told you how he convinced the boys
plowing the back 9 to take over massa's place
next Friday?
Oh
by the way, don't forget about the preacher.
Didn't preacher just finish telling y'all Sunday
dat a good niggah did her work? That this is
what is asked of us by God. "God's will be
done", he said! "Just you wait until we get to
heaven", he said. "The lord will provide you
with a thousand times what you did not have
on earth". In other words, "don't listen to no
uppity Negro's who are gonna get us all killed"!
Up
Up and Away! (Tomorrow)
You gotta
choice:
1.) You
can think that you can fight me, Da man!
or
2.) It
safer to sit your black behind down and stay in
line.
If you
stay in line I, the man, will assure you of a
fast trip "up up and away.............! It says
so in the bible! I swear allegiance to God by
what he wrote in his Bible.
Let us
reason together - If it where not for my Godly
living, would I possess this beautiful estate?
Would I be placed in possession of all you Black
children given to me to raise by the will of our
all powerful Lord? Our God who has given ME
dominion over the earth to care for his
creators, of which you are but one. Ahhhhhhhhh
Massa is a good servant so you be one too.
A Fast end to a long problem
By putting
the black slaves into this position, several
things where forced into our Psyche's.
1.)
Intelligence was suspect by the slaves.
2.)
Knowledge was viewed as something "dangerous".
3.) The
naturally born Black intellectuals where branded
as trouble. They therefore where not allowed by
the masses to use their "God given" talents of
Anyltization to be able to create win-able
solutions to the problem of slavery. That namely
would have been for the Slaves to revolt and win
America from the wicked slave-holding white
males. Our Superman would kick their ass!
4.) The
power base and historical reality of male
intellectual superiority was quashed by the
slave holding class in order to be able to
subjugate the slaves en mass.
The African male (as the white male)
historically was placed by his people in the
role of leader. As the leader of his family, he
was responsible for their well being. If he did
not plan well, his family's lives would be in
danger.
In the
complex and often harsh environments of Africa,
the families lives could easily be lost by any
error. Therefore, the male was given special
education in order to make long term choices for
his family, village and tribe. Any failure by
the leadership, wetter he is a medicine man (
doctor), council elder ( government leader) or
priest could spell death to hundreds or
thousands of people. For this reason the African
male intellectual was given the ultimate
position within African society just
as intellectual white males are given that
place in American and European societies.
5.) The
power and sex role dynamics of the African
people (but not that of our genetic offspring -
the whites) was reversed. The Black slave female
was given the ultimate control over the slave
class as a way to ensure protection to the white
slave holders. She was sadly the first line of
defense that they had to prevent a Slave
insurrection against them.
Since she
was not educated to think in the realm of the
long term, but was instead given the goal of day
to day worker, she could not be asked to be able
to predict the long range outcome of the
reversal of sex roles.
What does
this mean? It means that African women (at
large) could not see what has come to pass on
the global African/ American/
Caribbean landscape regarding the regulation of
the male into a sub leadership role.
In English
- the women can not control the destiny of Black
people because we have not and we still do not
educate them to look at the long range results
of her actions.
Some young
Black women today would like to argue that all
it would take is the cooperation of the Black
male to "fall in line" with the program. I
argue, that this is not possible! If it where
possible, then it would have been carried
out within the last 60 years of Black American
social progress. Instead of things gettting
better, we are failing each other at a greater
and greater rate. It is time for a serious wake
up call folks.
Although I
do believe that power-sharing is vital among the
black intellectual class, male and female, this
is wildly different then the assumption made by
many women that the situation delivered to us by
the status quo can be continued.
Black
women - we must stop Massa' system to
have you head us. If the truth is that it was a
system devised to divide and conquer us, then in
order to get our societies back on track we must
eliminate said system.
In it's
stead, I would suggest a system in which the
best and the brightest will be encouraged to
lead us. I caution you all to resist
the temptation that is presenting it's self to
many of you. The concept that college is the
proving ground for the best is a lie!
* In fact
I will argue that today we still regulate the
most naturally intelligent to the role of
outcast and suspect niggah just as we have in
slavery. I argue that they are often the ones
who are on the fringes of the black community.
Placed there by the "average black person" as
we habitually have done for the last 400 years
that we have been in this mind fuck!
From Superman to Thug!
The most
naturally intelligent children among our ranks
are often placed in the charge of a female
headed household. As such, the stressed mother
has to be able to control her horde of smart-ass
children. To this day smart-ass behavior is
punished by our black society and because of the
frequent lack of a father, she, the mother is
the boss who will carry out all punishment. Lest
we allow the situation to flow out of her
control, in which case Da Man ( Police) will
have to be called in to do what we would not and
do not want to be done to our children. That is
destruction!
This in
itself would not be a problem if one where to
take away the influence of the effects of the
remnants of the slave system. But, that is not a
possibility. Please remember that the slave
system encouraged the smashing of the
intelligent children in order to prevent said
intelligence from having a negative affect upon
the slave system and therefore of the
mentalities that are created by said system.
If
we understand this, then it is easy to see why
and how where created our great folk hero's such
as Malcom Little ( AKA MALCOM X), Martin L.
King, Angela Davis', The Black Panthers...
Are they
not in fact the smart- assed bad boys and
girls on a mission that the white society
feared? Are they not the people most directly
ready to fight fire with fire? To fight
intelligence with intelligence?
Are they
NOT SUPERMAN?
If
this is true -- then many of our people who have
graduated as teacher's, medical professionals,
preacher's and other's are NOT in fact our
supermen. They are not in fact the best and the
brightest! They certainly are not our true
naturally gifted leaders but they are rather
people who where able to pass through a system
of education designed for us by the whites - to
create a false intellectual class that could be
used to fool us again!
"Up Up
and..... Away" they fly with their Phd's...
leaving the rest of us still in limbo.

Hoteph My Dear Beloved
Sisters And Brothers:
Well now by dear beloved, it is the AfroDescendants in america I speak of , who has been so conditioned to deny affiliation , not along an obligation to Afrika. The mind set of the AfroDescendants in america has been so conditioned to love these United States of america and hate their mother Land Afrika, as a matter of fact we have no thought of connection to Afrika, other than hear say and talk, most certainly not Spiritual, which demand an acceptable behavior toward our Mother Land Afrika, which formulate a desire to see her free again and united. Here is the appalling truth about us AfroDescendants in america, our mind has been tampered with to the extent we no longer think for ourselves and the tampering was in fact to blind side us to the extent we no longer are able to accept Afrika in a positive thought, just a past wonderment, without emotional connection. The Black Woman and Man has a love fest with america, to the extent we rather live and strive on hope, as we cry for a better life in america, than to acknowledge truthfully our obligation and biological connection to a Continent that we no longer have nor do we show any love for, I speak of none other than Mother Afrika. We Black Folks rather love a step mother that have shown nothing but contempt toward us. Even as we are treated without compassion, love, nor respect, the Black love for our adopted mother, america, is loyal and without self pride and is unconditional. We choose to love a mother that do not love us back and only allow the emotion of hope and a desire for a better life in america, with no guarantee of Justice and freedom of choice to comfort us Black people in america, whom many now call ourselves Afrikan americans, which is an insult to Afrika and a contradiction in term as well. In america, we the children of the middle passage, we rather injustice than Justice,we rather a lie than the Truth about our status and opportunity in america and we choose to deny Afrika and embrace america,a step mother who has a stinging record of imposing evil in the form of prejudice racism, laced with injustice upon the AfroDescendants in america, who are off springs of those, our mother and father, who was in fact brought over to this we call america, bounded in chains, treated less than the animals were and are treated by the Slave enforcers. Yet we Black Folks rather lie about what it is we must do to receive the respect of our Hue-Man Rights, Justice and the sovereignty of our life. We choose to lie to ourselves as well as to our children, that such principals of freedom and independence can be achieved here under the command of a step mother who share no common bond with us Black Folks and most certainly love and respect is no where to be founded in the action of a step mother who has taught us to hate our natural mother, Afrika, as our Enslaved Afrikan Ancestors scream out in opposition to our act of denialof mother Afrika, as america show no shame to what she did to our mothers and fathers. Reparation is our Ark, which will sail us back to our natural mother, Afrika and a Nation State we are entitled to, from the Blood, Sweat, Pain and tears our Enslaved Afrikan Ancestors suffered and endured,so that we may make such a demand in their behalf. As The Honorable Marcus Garvey So Proclaimed, Afrika Is For The Afrikan and there is only One God, One Aim And One Destiny for the Afrodescendants in the Diaspora,by way of the middle passage and that is Afrika!!! It Is Time To Condemn The Lie And Elevate The Truth!!! We Must Cause Trouble Until Our Liberation!!! Complete Love To The Carbon Afrikan Nation. Hoteph Osiris Hierophant, Afrikan Spiritualist National Chairman Sankofa Repatriation Movement The Pan - Afrikan Inter'National Movement Hoteph Dear Beloved: Below, the Chief Elder has responded point for point to the article below. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 3, 2004 CONTACT: Joseph C. Phillips Email: joseph@josephcphillips.com Web: www.josephcphillips.com <http://www.josephcphillips.com> THE COSBY FIRESTORM JUST WON'T DIE DOWN By Joseph C. Phillips Joseph C. Phillips starred in the hit series The Cosby Show as Martin Kendall - Denise's husband. Phillips has also starred in General Hospital, Living Single, and The Parkers. The firestorm continues over remarks Bill Cosby made three weeks ago at a celebration of the landmark Supreme Court decision in Brown v. Board of Education. The comedian criticized segments of the black community about issues ranging from out-of-wedlock births to literacy. Chief Elder Osiris, Point By Point. First of all what some Black Folks of higher means need to know is, this is not Mr Cosby Fire Storm but america fire storm and the people Mr Cosby is speaking of and no doubt to, happen to be living right smack in the middle of the racist fire storm Mr Cosby seem to ignore. This is not about where Mr Cosby come from or whether or not he has had a tough day in america or not, it is about the cause of the fire storm and how long its been burning and who it is that has been feeling the pain and still does, which is no choice of their own. Osiris Detractors have charged that Cosby's comments were elitist. Many responded that the remarks were insensitive and judgmental. Others expressed concern that this airing of the black community's dirty laundry will only arm conservatives with more ammunition in their effort to roll back civil rights. Those who missed the point - that black people need to begin taking responsibility for their personal lives and stop blaming the white man -- have insisted that 'The Cos' > > should have admitted that discrimination still exists. Chief Elder Osiris: You know it seem as if any time Truth challenge a lie, it is classified as a detraction. This is not about Mr.Cosby charge,it is about a condition Mr. Cosby chose to focus on and I do not concern myself about how many others of the likes of Mr. Cosby has made such an observation and choice to miss-apply the blame, that is what this is about. It is an insult and a disrespect to refer to Black Poor people as dirty linien, where did you negroes come from, what has happen to your Black Mind? There is nothing insensitive or judgemental about the Truth and what Mr.Cosby stated regarding the condition of poor Black People is true but to imply that poor people desire not the type of life Mr.Cosby enjoy and their suffering is all because they are not willing to do any better, is the thinking of a negro fool. Prejudice Racism is a intrical part of the american fabric and any negro who think they have escaped the fire storm, without the consent of the originator of the fire storm is a fool with blinders on and is being led by lies, concerning enviroment and condition in america that Black Folks are exposed to, those who are not allowed to fall through the proverbal cracks in america, to be held up as false role models, to the Black poor, suffer the truth of america prejuduce Racism. This is not about the false face of Civil Rights, controlled By White Folks, it is about our Human Rights, control by Justice and not the law of man but by Universal Law , as so established by the creator of us all. Osiris Black conservatives, of course, have levied similar criticisms as Cosby for years and, for their troubles, the left has lambasted them. Precisely why I found the reaction of Dr. Cornel West, professor of Black Studies at Princeton University, so interesting. During a radio interview, West explained that the painful truth of Cosby's remarks must be put into the context of who Cosby is (or more accurately, who he is not). He noted that Cosby has been a friend of the peoples' struggle for years. His words, therefore, were spoken out of great compassion. "We know he is not from the right wing. He is not Clarence Thomas," West intoned. Chief Elder Osiris Away with all of these phony labels, such as Left and Right, Conservative and Liberal, that is the problem with Black Folks in america we have become so conditioned to the point we have taken on to mimick the White Man in all of his foolish games, as we try to fit in. Tell me what is a Black Conservative or a Black Liberal, the two is reacting to the same Racist System that has given them a soap box to classify and stratify Black Folks. No Mr. West, the painful truth must be put in the contex and proper prospective as to what is the nature and cause of the problem that Mr Cosby and so many others of his like, now speak of, as you say they do. The most damaging of Mr.Cosby statement is when he attempt to defend this Racist System by implying that Poor People have no one to blame for our misery but ourselves, no greater lie has ever been told and then go on to suggest to poor people, they can not blame white people, why not, they are the source of Black Folks problem in america, yet the so call role models will not own up to the truth because they hold a contract with the devil. Osiris The issue then is not correct or incorrect or as some would have it, left versus right. It is not a question of class, but about how to speak truth with compassion. According to West, the arguments of black conservatives would have been met with less derision had they only reasoned using more tenderness. Chief Elder Osiris: What are you saying the issue is not about what is correct or incorrect and not about Class, it is about all of that, coming out of Mr. Cosby mouth and all others who think and speak as he does. Poor people is not in need of tenderness, they need Justice and a fair shake in life and america enviroment is not the place where they will experience such an opportunity. Poor people do not need compassion coming from anybody and most certainly not the likes of people who fail to tell them the truth about who is the cause of their condition, instead of lying to them and telling them not to put the blame for their condition where it belong, most certainly not the victims. Osiris Fifteen years ago Shelby Steele published the award winning book "The Content of our Character." He quickly became the whipping boy of black "progressives" who took umbrage with his challenge to black people to abandon the pride of victimization. But Steele's book is filled with faith in our human capacity to seize opportunity as individuals in order to uplift the black race. He writes: "Uplift can only come when many millions of blacks seize the possibilities inside the sphere of their personal lives and use them to take themselves forward." If I didn't know any better I would swear I was listening to Cosby at the NAACP gala. Chief Elder Osiris All of that hog wash is so demeaning and misleading to poor people. Such what is alluding to in a statement coming from Mr. Steele book, as so stated by the writer. On an uneven playing field of life, none of what is being claimed concerning Black people or any other people,is true. Condition and enviroment plays a very important role in us accomplishing what is being talked about, concerning Black folks ability, also it all has to do with the type of authority and control we have over our lives as well. None of that is true for poor Black people in america, without white folks consent, talent and ability carry little weight for poor Black people, if at all in america. Osiris In the same vein, the left has mercilessly hammered Ward Connerly because of his opposition to affirmative action preferences. Connerly, however, does not oppose preferences simply because he wants to deny opportunity to minorities. Connerly "believes that hard working, high achieving women and minorities should not have to live under the cloud of affirmative action and it's insulting premise that we are incapable of winning in an open competition." The same is true of favorite villain Clarence Thomas who says, "These kids are bright, they are capable. For the life of me, why don't we tell them the same thing we tell all the other kids in our society." It's not Shakespeare, but it sounds like love to me. The fact is that the painful truth Cosby spoke was no truer and no more empathetic than that spoken by conservatives > > like Steele, Connerly, and yes, Clarence Thomas. Chief Elder Osiris Conservative and Liberals, there ain't a dime worth of difference between the two, they both see through the same lying glass when it come to not telling the Truth about BLACK FOLKS CONDITION IN AMERICA. Osiris Cosby's critics may be gentler in their rebuke of him because he's their political bedfellow. Their quarrel with him though is very much ideological. They may be loathe to admit it, but like black conservatives, Cosby has apparently grown tired of the worn-out notion that until the last vestige of racism is eradicated black success is impossible and any success black people do attain is either the result of luck or the benevolence of others. Chief Elder Osiris Our difference with Mr Cosby and the likes thereof, is Truth as oppose to lies and truth must be told to our childeren and whether we tell them the truth or not, will swing back and slap the lier up against that lying head, hell our children are living the Truth about america every day, so the more the likes oF A Mr Cosby, choose to paint a make believe america world to poor Black people, the more he and others like him, become self condemning. And Brothers:
You know my dear beloved, here is the problem with Blacks in america, we feel as if, well let me put it this way, we have been conditioned to believe, when it come to Truth, it must come from those we have been conditioned to hold upas a Black Icon and ignoring all others, regardless of how Spiritual and well learned we might be. We only listen to and worship those among us who have been allowed to be projected to us as being our leader, therefore, what ever come out of their mouth is the gospel Truth but not the Spiritual Truth, because out of the mouth of the Spiritualist, in touch with our Ancient Ancestors, flow information grounded in Truth, as it follow the circle of sound reasoning and refined logic. Truth does not discriminate and information is not prejudice, it is there for those who want it, and the truthfulness of it, is determine by how learned and knowledgeable of the Truth we are, and most of all, how well we understand it all. You see I am not in a position to quit america, because I have not established a relationship with her on that level, because if you can make a statement that you are quitting america it imply that, at one time you were in love with america, in spite of her behavior and attitude of evil and abuse she has from day one shown toward us the Black Nation. From the moment after arriving out from my dear mother and became mature to observe and think with my own mind, without it being influenced by somebody else thoughts about my Black Life in america, love was not a part of my emotions toward america. What sane thinking Black Woman and Man after gaining the knowledge of who we are as Black People and in view of america attitude and behavior toward Black Afrikans in Afrika, as well as in america, how can we love something that was so bold to remove a segment of people from their home against their will and treat them as Chattel, in an institution call Slavery and assigned a value worth to being only three fith of a Hue - Man Being and to this day show no regret of such evil action. Where one is born, if need be, become the adopted home, it is where one originate from that is the natural Home, so america is not my home, adppted or other wise. Quitting america? I never established that type of relationship with her, to say now I quit her. If I do not agree with Blacks in america, here by way of the middle passage, going back home just to settle down to become a party to Afrika problem, then I do not smile on those who run to take solace some place other than in the fight for Afrika Liberation, to the death. Make no difference where some of us might have gotten our flawed education, in the ivey league schools of america or in the western world,Truth and understanding is not assured to us. As theAncient Ancestors said to us long ago, from the one you think not and know not, is enclosed within the stranger that is in your midst, Truth, Knowledge and Understanding does reside, not the Icons you now follow blindly. I can sympathize with brother Randall but I can not endorse the exsample he is displaying to those who revere him as a leader. There is no burn out excuse for a true reveloutionary. While we are some where on a island of calm, Afrika and theAfrikans are still being abused by this devilish oppressor and only a conscious that is dead can remain comfortable, while such unrest is upon theBlack Afrikan Family. We get burned out and fustrated with america when we want america to embrace us and she does not. We labor under an illusion thinking if we protest long enough, america will change her attitude toward us and come to love us and measure out Justice to us. How foolish we are to want and believe such will become the state of mind of america, toward the Black Woman and Man, when she will not acknowledge her wrong committed against our Enslaved Ancestors in the form of Reparation, and even so, that would not be a True sign of change toward us.. How can any Black Woman and Man in their original Mind, allow america to become disappointing to us, as if we had high expectations of Justice to come from her, to the Children Of The Middle Passage, when her pattern of behavior of disrespect, abuse and murder, go back approximate Five Hundrand Years, consistently. The only soloution to our problem in america is to totally reject her and demand with all of our Mind Might, Reparation for our Enslaved Ancestors, so that it may serve as the Ark that is to carry us Home to Afrika, not as settlers but as the next additional State to Afrika, with a goal and desire to see Afrikans and Afrika to be reunited once again, such is our obligation as the AfroDescendants of our Enslaved Ancestors and such is the prophecy as well. A Message to My Sistas by Assata Shakur http://www.assatashakur.org/sistas.htm At this time I'd like to say a few words especially to my sisters: SISTERS. BLACK PEOPLE WILL NEVER BE FREE UNLESS BLACK WOMEN PARTICIPATE IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR STRUGGLE, ON EVERY LEVEL OF OUR STRUGGLE.I think that Black women, more than anybody on the face of the earth, recognize the urgency of our situation. Because it is We who come face to face daily with the institutions of our oppression. And because it is We who have borne the major responsibility of raising our children. And it is We who have to deal with the welfare systems that do not care about the welfare of our children. And it is We who have to deal with the school systems that do not educate our children. It is We who have to deal with the racist teachers who teach our children to hate themselves. It is We who have seen the terrible effects of racism on our children. I JUST WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT OUT TO EXPRESS MY LOVE TO ALL OF YOU WHO RISK YOUR LIVES DAILY STRUGGLING OUT HERE ON THE FRONT LINES. We who have watched our young grow too old, too soon. We who have watched our children come home angry and frustrated and seen them grow more bitter, m! ore disillusioned with the passing of each day. And We who have seen the sick, trapped look on the faces of our children when they come to fully realize what it means to be Black in Amerikkka. And we know what deprivation is. How many times have We run out of bus fare, rent money, food money and how many times have our children gone to school in hand-me-down clothes, with holes in their shoes. We know what a hell-hole Amerikkka is. We're afraid to let our children go out and play. We're afraid to walk the streets at night. We sisters, We have seen our young, the babies that We brought into this world with such great hopes for, We have seen their bodies bloated and aching from drugs, scarred and deformed by bullet holes. We know what oppression is. We have been abused in every way imaginable. We have been abused economically, politically. We have been abused physically, and We have been abused sexually. And sisters, We have a long and glorious history of struggle on this land! /planet. Afrikan women were strong and courageous warriors long before We came to this country in chains. And here in Amerikkka, our sisters have been on the front lines. Sister Harriet Tubman led the underground railroad. And sisters like Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hammer, Sandra Pratt and our Queen Mother Moore have carried it on. Sisters, We have been the backbone of our communities, and We have got to be the backbone of our nation. We have got to build strong family units, based on love and struggle. We don't have no time to play around. A REVOLUTIONARY WOMAN CAN'T HAVE NO REACTIONARY MAN. If he's not about liberation, if he's not about struggle, if he ain't about building a strong Black nation then he ain't about nothing. We know how to struggle. We know how to struggle and finagle to survive. We know what it means, sisters, to struggle tooth and nail. We know what it means to struggle with love. We know what unity is. We know what sisterhood is. We have always been kind to each other, brought each other hot soup and biscuits. We have always helped each other through the hard times. Sisters, We must celebrate Afrikan womanhood. We don't want to be like Miss Ann. She can keep her false eyelashes and her false, despoiled image of womanhood. She can keep her mink stole and her French provincial furniture. We will define for ourselves what womanhood is. And We will create our own style and our own ways of dress. We can't have no white man in France telling Afrikan women what to look like. We will create our own New Afrikan way of living. We will create our own wa! y of being and living our own New Afrikan culture, taking the best of the old and mixing it with the new. SISTERS WE HAVE GOT TO TAKE CONTROL OF OUR LIVES AND OUR FUTURE WHEREVER WE ARE. AND WE HAVE GOT TO ORGANIZE OURSELVES INTO A STRONG BODY OF AFRIKAN WOMEN. ------------------------------------------------------------ "I would rather be a member of this [Afrikan] race than a Greek in the time of Alexander, a Roman in the Augustan period, or Anglo-Saxon in the nineteenth century." - Edward Wilmot Blyden "However much we may detest admitting it, the fact remains that there would be no exploitation if people refused to obey the exploiter. http://www.chattano America Has Lost A Generation Of Black Boys By Phillip Jackson There is no longer a need for dire predictions, hand-wringing, or apprehension about losing a generation of black boys. It is too late. In education, employment, economics, incarceration, health, housing, and parenting, we have lost a generation of young black men. The question that remains is will we lose the next two or three generations, or possibly every generation of black boys hereafter to the streets, negative media, gangs, drugs, poor education, unemployment, father absence, crime, violence and death. Most young black men in the United States don't graduate from high school. Only 35% of black male students graduated from high school in Chicago and only 26% in New York City, according to a 2006 report by The Schott Foundation for Public Education. Only a few black boys who finish high school actually attend college, and of those few black boys who enter college, nationally, only 22% of them finish college. Young black male students have the worst grades, the lowest test scores, and the highest dropout rates of all students in the country. When these young black men don't succeed in school, they are much more likely to succeed in the nation's criminal justice and penitentiary system. And it was discovered recently that even when a young black man graduates from a U.S. college, there is a good chance that he is from Africa, the Caribbean or Europe, and not the United States. Black men in prison in America have become as American as apple pie. There are more black men in prisons and jails in the United States (about 1.1 million) than there are black men incarcerated in the rest of the world combined. This criminalization process now starts in elementary schools with black male children as young as six and seven years old being arrested in staggering numbers according to a 2005 report, Education on Lockdown by the Advancement Project. The rest of the world is watching and following the lead of America. Other countries including England, Canada, Jamaica, Brazil and South Africa are adopting American social policies that encourage the incarceration and destruction of young black men. This is leading to a world-wide catastrophe. But still, there is no adequate response from the American or global black community. Worst of all is the passivity, neglect and disengagement of the black community concerning the future of our black boys. We do little while the future lives of black boys are being destroyed in record numbers. The schools that black boys attend prepare them with skills that will make them obsolete before, and if, they graduate. In a strange and perverse way, the black community, itself, has started to wage a kind of war against young black men and has become part of this destructive process. Who are young black women going to marry? Who is going to build and maintain the economies of black communities? Who is going to anchor strong families in the black community? Who will young black boys emulate as they grow into men? Where is the outrage of the black community at the destruction of its black boys? Where are the plans and the supportive actions to change this? Is this the beginning of the end of the black people in America? The list of those who have failed young black men includes our government, our foundations, our schools, our media, our black churches, our black leaders, and even our parents. Ironically, experts say that the solutions to the problems of young black men are simple and relatively inexpensive, but they may not be easy, practical or popular. It is not that we lack solutions as much as it is that we lack the will to implement these solutions to save black boys. It seems that government is willing to pay billions of dollars to lock up young black men, rather than the millions it would take to prepare them to become viable contributors and valued members of our society. Please consider these simple goals that can lead to solutions for fixing the problems of young black men: Short term 1) Teach all black boys to read at grade level by the third grade and to embrace education. 2) Provide positive role models for black boys. 3) Create a stable home environment for black boys that includes contact with their fathers. 4) Ensure that black boys have a strong spiritual base. 5) Control the negative media influences on black boys. 6) Teach black boys to respect all girls and women. Long term 1) Invest as much money in educating black boys as in locking up black men. 2) Help connect black boys to a positive vision of themselves in the future. 3) Create high expectations and help black boys live into those high expectations. 4) Build a positive peer culture for black boys. 5) Teach black boys self-discipline, culture and history. 6) Teach black boys and the communities in which they live to embrace education and life-long learning.
